For the life of me I don’t understand that. There’s no way that ball was 100% over line before Sterling touched it. Did they show the CGI view of it? I didn’t see.
I don't really get all the City criticism. The "top six" have won everything for years by spending money, what have City done that's any different? The top sides have always had more money to buy the best players. Liverpool and Man Utd have both had spells where they dominated season after season. They have always been regarded as great teams who deserved their success, they were never accused of ruining English football.
In matters of fairness, I think City should be made to buy and play Lovren for the majority of games next season. That should even things up!
But City are so good, they would still win trophies and Lovren would get winners medals. We don’t want that.
The only thing I object to in regards to Citeh is that they never built their huge wealth through their excellence on the pitch and being an extremely well run club it has all fallen into their lap literally overnight. Pep is the best club Manager on the planet and he has all the tools at his disposal, it would be a shock if they weren't dominating at this present time tbh.
I'd disagree with that, he joined Liverpool when their squad was miles away from a title challenge and has got them playing at a very similar level. I think Poch even would have had some success if he was able to walk straight into a top job.
OK, so they short cut their progress by accumulating wealth off the football pitch. Truth is, to make a small fortune in football, it pays to start off with a large one. Until we have proper regulation and proper upper limits on the amounts clubs can spend on players, we will always have this scenario. What you object to in Man City, actually stops me from being a football supporter of the whole she-bang. What's the point? The dice are too loaded in favour of the richest. You'd have thought, that in 'sport', money would not be the prime factor in determining who is best. But it does. So don't blame Man City. Blame football as it is now.
I was only jesting as I think Klopp is a great coach, but I was saying only a season or so before they’d been a title challenger... so not miles from one...
