    I'd be happy when we sign Two attacking players in Lookman and Djenepo? We will have potentially, Redmond Boufal, Lookman and Djenepo to play those wide positions. Ha vs to shift a few though.

    Apart from the Ground staff who are preparing for some concerts, there is no one at St Marys or Staplewood doing any other business, and that includes transfers and contracts, they are all on holiday or nonexistent at the moment.

    Just been asking a few mates about him who are all Bristol City fans and they seem pretty shocked to have got £13m for him. Said he is young and a good player at Champ level but thought the money was nuts.

    I'm not sure if I've ever seen Kelly play. But purely on the basis that he's someone identified by Bmouth's scouting department, I'm inclined to feel like we dodged a bullet there.

    It's the way forward. To stop fans getting upset when we lose players Southampton are now cutting out the middle man and letting players go direct to another team. :)

    Ajax have Celtic-syndrome. Will never keep players playing in a dogshite league.

    How cool would a combined Germany-Netherlands league be? Could even bring in Belgium teams too for good measure.

    While they might not be able to keep hold of many of them long-term, they're still in a pretty enviable position. Their scouting/development system is second to none, they will be well-funded for years to come, and they now have a reputation as a team both where players can both compete now and earn moves straight to the giants of world football. I wouldn't bet against them making noise in the CL in the next few years...they will have the finances to hoover up every damned starlet in Holland, Belgium and Denmark (which seem to be their favoured haunts) for the foreseeable future.
