I love a good kit thread. It’s either conspiracy theories, moans about blue in the logo or a complete meltdown over the third kit that appeared on designyerownkit.com - at least someone recognised the deal is worth a lot of money to the club which will help with the transfer budget.
If you think our new sponsors are a bit dodgy, it's nothing compared to Sheffield Utd https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/20...funded-3m-loan-osama-bin-ladens-family-court/
I guess there must be a few beheaded Bin laden aides after misinterpreting that request to spend 3m on blades.
It says SAYNTS festival though? Literally the only link is the Y. Could link it to anything at all with a "Y" on it.
Saw a couple of people saying it means ‘Say no to stripes’ but I don’t think anyone actually has a clue. Maybe it is actually some kind of festival.
That doesn't mean it's an official website by the same "LD Sports" though. I mean, I don't know. I guess I look at it like this. I'm also concerned about what's going on at the club. But, if the Board/owners are up to some shady ****, then they can do that without an awfully sketchy looking website. In fact, it's probably way better to do it without the kind of overt comical skullduggery/incompetence they're being accused of. Like, if this is a massive deal and the goal is to take over the PL like some are saying, why wouldn't you spend like 15 minutes and 5 Euro to just slap your logo on a page and a "coming soon"? I'm not saying everything is fine. I'm quite worried and strongly suspect everything is far from fine. But not because of a weird webpage. That doesn't increase or decrease my consternation at all.
It was a theme Kat had on a scheme Gao had Both from a foreign land To take Saints from low and make them flow With Ralphy in command It was a flight on the wings of a young coach's dreams That flew too far away-ay Don't look too high 'cos we've got China in our stands Don't wish too hard, because they won't come true And you can't help them You don't know what you might have set upon yourself China in our stands...
Tend not to really care about kits one way or another (pretty much all of our PL shirts have fallen on a continuum between fine and quite nice), but those are impressively ugly.
