Open your eyes and give credit where it's due, we're obviously closer - how many times have we been in the Championship playoffs in May in the past 15 years? I'm as disappointed as you , but keep it real.
I'm absolutely deflated, depressed, I want to cry(but I'm a bloke) I don't know what happened. I'll see you all next season, my love for Leeds United will never die. At least the glory hunters will feck off now.
i'm off to console myself with a large bottle of rum speek to you all later,(and don't unlike the team) do anything stupid.
We need swift action now, we need Bielsa to come out and say he will be here next season and we need some quick signings when the window opens. Shackleton can save us some money, he has to start next season, probably complete with Klich and a new number 10 and Striker to replace Bamford. I hate to say this but I think Pablo is shot, he has been poor for the last 4-5 games, I can’t see he has another full season in him
Our dorm since spygate has been eleven or twelve defeats. You really believe we’re much better. We’re fitter. If owners know what they’re at we’ll be certs for promotion next season so that’s a big consilatiin
I'd like Bielsa to stay. I'm sure he'll be better for the experience of this season. I'd like us to promote some of the youngsters. It's never easy being Leeds is it
Been watching us do the same thing since the 70"s. We are just good at ****ing up with the occasional high.
Absolutely gutted that everything that could go wrong did go wrong from a Leeds point of view. However looking at it all realistically and I think Bielsa has did well with what he had. I don't think this team would cut it in the PL and not convinced one bit that Radz and Victor would have bought the right kind of players to keep us up next season. The silver lining is the young players we do have look to have potential and hopefully natural progression will see them to good effect over the next couple of seasons. If we can keep Bielsa or at least keep the ethos and get rid of a few of the lightweights from our squad, then I think we still have a window of opportunity over the next few seasons to go up.
None of the teams that go up are ready because of the money that is in the premier. It's about getting there and investing in the right players. Something Bielsa I believe would do.
