Sorry mate, but as a Brummie, only City are refered to as Brum.Villa are from Aston and Baggies from West Bromwich.
I know that. But I worked with a Brummie and he used the term "brummagem" to refer to anything from his home city. We worked in a tool shop and called a hammer a "Brummagem screwdriver" Google the word.
Agree, but the reference to football teams is way off the mark.If Leeds are to face Brum in the final,by your theory they will be playing a team comprising of B'ham City,WBA,Aston Villa and arguably Walsall as well. My original reply was a jovial comment with no offence intended.
Mad to think Norwich thought Jed Steer wasn't good enough. Now he's an important player for a Club the size of Villa with all their Millions. Looking forward to see Jacob and Jed start tonight. I bet they both do us proud.
Pretty sure Lambert took him at 17 when his contract expired, I was under the impression he didn't want to renew with us at the time .
If that was true, it would have been because of no faith shown in him to even be second choice. Did we have Nelson, Nash or Gilks as back up then? There was a stage we kept going through where we would have a 1st choice keeper, then an old, past it, wage collector. Instead of trusting our talented young keepers as a back up, so they could at least get 1st team training, and be involved in the first team squad.
I have no idea what his motivation for leaving was, Villa being a Premier league club at the time possibly
Would have thought he would have seen a lower club as a better opportunity to be number one. Either he was told he wasn't part of Norwich plans, Or he backed himself so much, he'd rather try his chances at Villa.
Yes, looked down to see where to put his foot. Don't get me wrong, I want Baggies to win. Can't stand Mings or Grealish especially.
