By far the best & most successful black manager. Very harsh decision by Brighton

So was the sacking of Darren Moore at WBA. I feel a bit uneasy about this.

Harsh & stupid sackings are part & parcel of football. It’s not a wider issue.

Chris Hughton will easily get another job, and rightly so.

I hope so, but he was also harshly sacked at Newcastle.

Next Charlton manager when Bowyer 'walks' because Douchashite would not give him what he asked for........??

I can see Celtic wanting Chris Hughton.

And he would be guaranteed to win the Treble next season.

Or perhaps they will look for home grown talent; a no-nonsense young manager who has just had a fantastic season in League One despite difficult circumstances, but is out of contract in a few weeks...

No, but if Weeds don't go up in the Play offs I can see Bielsa going to Brighton and Bow going to his former Club Weeds.

Brighton have contacted Graham Potter regarding their managerial vacancy <yikes>

Harry Potter would be a better bet.

Some clubs are trigger-happy, it has worked for Watford but we are the only club with a highly successful manager and an owner who doesn't seem to want to keep him. If we don't keep Bowyer we will be a laughing stock, if we aren't one already.

Brighton now deserve everything they get, for firing Chris Hughton after everything he has achieved, and not giving him the chance to reverse their poor form with new signings during the summer.

If they are bottom of the table by Christmas who will they turn to, Big Sam?

Nobody seems to be satisfied with success anymore. It only breeds greed and jealousy. Not every team can be like Wolves. Staying in the league should be enough for a few seasons at least. Took us five or six years before some fans began to get tired of Curbs.

If Charlton get promotion, keep LB and finish one place and 2 points above relegation (on a league 2 budget), how many of our fans will say Bowyer deserves the sack?
It has taken me a long time to acknowledge the job LB has done, but if we win at Wembley it will be a huge achievement bearing in mind the twats he has to kowtow to every day just to do his job.

I still detest that he has to do that, but if he gets Charlton back to the Championship (something I thought impossible under RD) I'll have to say I was wrong to hold it against him.

Lee Bowyer will be much in demand this summer if the Belgian tit doesn’t pull his finger out.

If you look at the shortlist of people who Brighton want to interview for the job.... if you added Chris Houghton to that list, he would surely be favourite for the job... wouldn't he? …… the grass is always greener!

These Brighton players who complained to the owners about CH... I hope they are playing in the Championship after next season with the reduction is salary that entails,

Compare Chris Hughton to Harry Cocknapp or Alan Pardew.

At Birmingham, Norwich, Newcastle and now Brighton Hughton has inherited clubs on their arses, and left them with promotions and money in the bank.

Terrible shortsighted decision from the Brighton owner. They could well suffer for it next season. Having a great time in Edinburgh.

Reading today that the Brighton players went to the owner behind Chris Hughton’s back.

    Laughable.

Tough one. His big money signings have all been unequivocal failures, he plays some of the ugliest football around, and they only stayed up as they had some of the worst teams in premier league history playing in it this season. I imagine they will get a foreign manager in, sack him by Xmas and be relegated by end of March.
