Fiorentina were going to replace AC Milan when they were banned from the Europa League, but then they just let AC Milan play anyway #thatwentwell
btw... apparently... I'm struggling with this one myself... but apparently Darren Fletcher is a man Utd legend.... I know strange eh? in other news the nut jobs in charge at old Trafford are thinking of appointing Fletcher as technical director
Gary Neville will love that, he had a #meltdown where he was crying to get in some proper talent not some #nomark who just happens to have played for them
I think what needs questioning is the FA's approach to due diligence when looking at clubs being bought. I get that the game is moving on and £££ talk but they need to address the fact that some of the dealings are morally wrong. Countries/states that violate fundamental human rights should not be allowed to buy clubs.
I just find it hilarious that a #nomark journeyman with ibs is considered a man Utd leg-end. sorry but.... seriously... he worked hard and that but he was no Nicky butt
I think you should go further and discuss new York city and subverting did a rules about owning number of clubs it's clearly a state interfering with rules all over the place. it's hilarious that under eu rules (I know Brexit right) states can't support companies and airlines have gone to walk while this **** happens. I'm actually shocked no French club or Interest has taken psg to eu courts. it's clear a state supported company artificially subverting normal competitive market.
It may not ever get back to competing on a level playing field (no pun intended) but we should at least try and run the game with some moral fortitude.
normal business rules would severely fine and break up these state run companies as they interfere with fair competition.
If we'd won the league, this conversation wouldn't be happening. Just sounds a bit 'sour grapes' atm imo
A player who started at the club as a kid, breaking through into the first team at the age of 19/20 and was an integral part of the side for the next 7/8 years, only curtailed by a crippling injury you so flippantly dismiss as ibs. During that time he was a pivotal figure in United retaining the defence of their league title twice. You may describe him as a journeyman but that's because you never really saw him week in week out to see he was an intelligent midfielder who not only read the opposition, regain possession but as a more than able box to box midfielder who had much more to his game at the highest level not least of all being capable of scoring important goals. Of course a successful manager like Fergie overseeing a squad full of talent saw none of this therefore for Fletcher to play midfield during our most successful period was just a fluke? I'd go as far as to say that had he not been suspended for the CL final in 2009, we would've been the first club to win back to back CL's. He was immense that season and I knew the moment he was carded in the SF we had lost probably our most important player for that final. So if he is described as a club legend, then it is richly deserved
Yes it would. The League and FA Cups are completely pointless now because City can play a #worldclass reserve side. I don't care about us winning them but it's just another part of the football season that can be written off as not worth paying attention to because of unearned money.
. so jordan Henderson like, bar he was a man Utd young player. and yeah.. he was just a guy who Ran about a lot... cos if he was half you described he'd have not been out and ended up at west brom. btw... no chance mate in that cl final... none. Barca took it easy on you and had 2 more gears. they really wanted the trophy so once it was won they just controlled. soz.
I thought I had heard it all when Poch said the domestic cups were beneath Spurs, you have just topped that by saying Liverpool are not good enough to compete in them
