As per the title what's been your highs and lows of this campaign? The highs: - Ralph - The Arsenal match, first league win against top 6 side in over 2 and a half years. - Finally winning a match at Goodison (well sort of) - Prowsey's improvement and run of goals - Seeing two brilliant Saints goals at Old Trafford - Beating the Spuds in my nippers first game - Les leaving - Liverpool didn't win the league The lows: - VAR... - Cardiff away, 'nuff said. - Derby replay, finally get a decent FA Cup draw for the first time in years and we throw away a 2 goal lead for the second time in the tie. - Not much excitement during the season/run in Gotta bit carried away there but it's the end season so would be interested to see some others.
Biggest high for me was also the Arsenal match, Ralph's first home game, a passionate performance, great result and Ralph's on pitch reaction at the end. Lump in throat. The spurs win was also massive. Losing at half time with Cardiff beating west ham, the league table looked bleak. Brilliant comeback. Finally Shane long going into the record books. What a star. The low was the frustration of the countless stupid or late goals we conceded. This can be fixed. At this moment in time, not that memorable of a season for us but we could look back on this being the season that things changed with the positive appointment of Ralph and a number of players coming of age.
Highs: all those mentioned above. Lows: losing 29 points (or whatever it was, I lost count) from winning positions. This surely represents possibly the biggest frustration for Saints fans, the fact that as much as Ralph has improved us, he hasn’t yet managed to stop this particular rot. Roll on the summer!
High: The final whistle in the last game? Low: The rest of the Season, apart from the draws and wins.
Highs, Bindippers blowing the league Seeing the back of Colin W Ralph arriving Lows, losing twice to Colin's cloggers, Not stuffing Hudds in the last game, Throwing away best part of 30 points from winning positions
