    Good Morning Everyone

    Leeds will be without Adam Forshaw for the second leg of the Semi play play off against Derby on Wednesday evening.

    Fortunately this will give Jamie Shackleton a further opportunity to shine. The 19yo took his chance with both hands and delivered a performance far beyond his years.

    Shacks performance can be summed up perfectly by ex gaffer Simon Grayson :-

    “I think that it was a blessing in disguise for Leeds because the kid has got energy, he has got pace, especially away from home where Derby weren’t going to be sitting back.”

    “He broke forward so many times because of his desire, his work-rate.”

    Harrison has come in for a World of abuse this season, but will you ever see a better cross than the one he spoon fed Roofe for the only goal of the game?

    Watch the two footed challenge on Dallas leading up to the goal (surely a sending off)?

    Fat Frank has come out and said that his team have nothing to lose on Wednesday evening.

    Will that make it harder for us to play against them.

    Will Bielsa change Leeds tactics?

    Were Leeds lucky not to concede a penalty on Saturday?

    The behaviour of the Derby players took a lot to be desired.

    Watch these two incidents 4 minutes apart, and give me your thoughts.

    All I would say is watch the Kough push Coops back to give him space to take a swing at him (or am I wrong?

    I agree with Grayson. Young shacks ahead of Forshaw regardless of fitness!

    Derby will have to come at us, and I think we play better when teams do that.

    And finally, great ball by Harrision, best assist I have seen this term <ok>

    I just hope we get some officials of the same calibre as Saturday,Derby will be really trying it on,as all it might take is a bit of simulation in or around the box to fool the ref (or a ref that may be swayed by the EFL) not that sort of thing really happens <whistle> and we could find ourselves in trouble.
    Morning all btw

    Morning all. Great performance but Im not getting carried away. Play same team in my opinion but this thing is still on a knife edge. Would be just our luck for Derby to beat us once in four attempts and end our season

    Morning all. In the 3 games we have had with Derby it seems unlikely that they will beat us playing football. The alternative will be to try to wind Leeds up with niggling fouls or worse. Leeds players must not re-act leave it to the referee.They may even try to clatter Hernandez early doors hoping for a free go.

    Morning all on a gloriously sunny day being made all the better by the fact that we are 1-0 up.

    A few points from the game:
    • Keogh is an ugly ****;
    • He swung a big punch at Cooper right in front of the ref who did nothing but of course as he did not connect it wouldn't be deemed to be violent conduct even thought the intent was clearly there;
    • Klich was very lucky to get away with just a yellow and that will hopefully avoid further punishment but naturally the EFL can make an exception in our case. A stupid thing to do and something we will have to curb on Wednesday;
    • Derby have nothing to lose on Wednesday so no doubt they will be trying to deceive the officials all round. We just need to keep our heads and control the game;
    • The two footed challenge by Derby player should have been a red card. Not sure if he got booked so probably can't take retro action;
    • Onwards and upwards to Wednesday.

    <laugh> Totally agree,looks as though he's drugged up or something.A totally unnatural look,but something sadly that did not have to be worked on.
    Quick poll
    who's the uglier
    Richard Keogh or
    Martin Keown <yikes>

    Unlike a lot of Leeds fans I like Foreshaw... like Shaks too. Foreshaw just offers a different skill set to Shackleton. It’s noticeable, to me at least, that we seem to see less of the ball when Shackleton’s on (not just yesterday but in previous games.. maybe coincidental and to do with timing of subs etc) ... but he offers that threat because of the pace and energy to get beyond the back line. Something we’ve lacked for most of the season.

    Thing with playing foreshaw AND klich is they are a bit samey, so with no Roberts side is probably better balanced with shaks in. But hey its irrelevant if foreshaw is crocked.

    Morning all :emoticon-0148-yes:

    Agree with Norman 100%

    Nice to see young Viera and Antonnuci tweet about Kalvin Phillips, both were raving about his performances this season.

    Chris Houghton sacked at Brighton is a fkg joke. The bloke took them from being a gay second tier gash club to the Prem and has kept them there, even this season took them to the semis of the FA Cup this season too. One of the best English managers in the game shat on by idiot owners. Houghton has gotten Newcastle promoted, Norwich promoted and Brighton promoted

    On the one hand, I get that Brighton were in freefall.

    On the other, staying up is a result for them. Houghton is an excellent manager. If Bielsa moved on I’d have him.... though I think they’re grooming corberan for succession planning in that eventuality.

    if we're to go up, first season priority is to stay there.
    Brighton board have just given us a better chance.

    I always liked him as a manager but he did not get Norwich promoted.
