me either, but you keep throwing money at something you eventually come up trumps. chelsea for example.
Tim Sherwood: Tottenham need to follow Liverpool FC’s example in transfer market Former Spurs boss Tim Sherwood offers Tottenham some advice ahead of the summer transfer window
Not hard. Spend the money on 2 really good players. Lfc got alisson and fabinho ..... and waited for Keita for 12 months. Shaqiri was a cheap reserve Buy. We waited for vvd, we spent the cash on alisson. Our team is now almost complete we just need 2 or 3 more but mostly due to having to compete with city. We can't really afford to make do with origi and shaqiri, nor put a kid in at rb or lb which is a shame really.
i thought he was more refering to robertson types. taa was academy, we have the best full backs in the league and at what cost but vvd and alison was quality buys as was fabinho, loris is good enough though, more cb for them i reckon.
They don't need Robertson types.. that's Tim Sherwood all over I expect. they bought Trippier and Davies etc. they need quality. alderweireld replacement lloris replacement midfielder eriksen replacement?
Pep is not a long term manager. He had great teams at Barca and Bayern but left. Maybe he gets bored and needs a new challenge but he has denied links to Juventus, for now
One might say he brought through players at Barca like busquets but at Bayern (imo) he actually made them worse and they are now all aged. Now thats not his problem as both clubs have directors in charge of recruitment. When he leaves city the state he leaves them in will be down to the men above him. Guardiola didn't want to stay the 4th year at Barca. He fancies himself as a man of culture and travel and as such I'd be shocked if he stays in Manchester more than 4 years. I'd not be shocked if he did go to juventus, but I doubt he will right now. For me..... city have done well to get him Ederson after the bravo debacle. That was a terrible error on guardiolas recommendation. City need to look at defence, prepare for the cliff fernandinho is about to go over, replace Silva and probably Jesus now. The main thing really with City is how much guardiola has improved sterling
i always find that a strange comment, yes pep has done well with sterling, but he was already improving before he left (suarez and sturridge) and the players he is surrounded by at city ffs how much did they cost and world class? i think klopp would have got same out of him, but we have mane and salah now so!
Maybe so. For me he went to city as a big head and hadn't a clue. Guardiola had to teach him how to tactically play the game he wanted. He's not cured his amazing ability to miss open goals
imo Sterling always had the desire to make most of his ability hence him leaving QPR to move to us where he improved. Yes he was still raw when he was with us but he was still really young but was being asked at times to play as CF due to the Mad Italian fiasco. I think his improvement was to be expected with experience and any good coach.
Brilliant !!! Defoe lobs himself in the air and kicks a Celtic player in an attempt to get a pen and may have injured himself.
I can't bring myself to watch that ****. I watched the Last One where our lad punched brown. I've not seen thst crap a game in many years
i tell you what lads, what ever happens today it has been one hell of a season, just hope we don't get too many retarded wums later on here ffs, a simple unlucky will do. see you in the cl final spurs
I'll say that any just plain twats can be told just what they are. **** em anyway. None of them can laugh cos they are all ****ing dire and we already have 94 points. We can hold our heads up high today irrespective. Party day. No disappointment no heads hanging, no tears.
