this is final game and a home one. it will be a party irrespective of the result elsewhere. put it this way. there'd be nerves if we were 1 point ahead but it's a lost cause if we are winning and city are not with 10 or 15 to go ripples will run round but I just can't see the crowd that on edge if city are not winning at half time. I think there'll just be a good atmosphere any way. last game at Anfield... always a party.
sorry I meant origi. he went off for sturridge who then in 10mins trotted about rather than actually run. only 10mins and he put no effort in. should be sprinting on and not stop running for that 10mins. put everything in for the team then. but no... same old sturridge... but anyway. it was origi I was wondering a out.
Mane is an absolute beast though with an disagreeable penchant for flopping over and claiming injury.
It's not over until it's over. Football has the habit of surprising us. Who in their wildest wildest dream would have us beating Barcelona by 4-0? Who could have predicted Spurs beating Ajax in Amsterdam when they were 2-0 down with 35 minutes to go? Brighton getting a draw at home even against City. Is that really impossible? Not likely but very possible. I am keeping faith and praying for a late Brighton goal at 0-0. Come on Brighton!!
I really couldn't give a **** about Brighton or city. today is a Liverpool game. other games don't matter if we hold our heads up high...
The chance to win the CL has softened the potential pain for not winning the league. You have already moved on to bargaining in the stages of mourning. I am with @carlthejackal we have to keep the hope.
I'm in the "just do our job and see what that brings" camp though i would have preferred different opponents to Wolves.
