There is no need for the sponsors to demand so many tickets, they did it just to make it easier for them to start demanding this many CL tickets in future

As I understand it the reason the allocation is so low is because Baku airport is incapable of handling vast numbers of people.

Daft of me but I thought proper transport links and the City's ability to handle large groups of fans were part of the bidding process. Then I remembered Azerbaijan is mega oil rich and it all sort of made sense to hold a major European final outside of Europe.

trouble with suarez is he is the type of player you would only defend if he was ever on your team.

Leboeuf would have been no different. all teams wanted him in their squad.

 

Exactly. Suarez is on record as saying that he’d do anything to win - I think he was talking about his handball for Uruguay in the World Cup - he is a sh*thouse in the field. And we loved him for it because he was not jus a sh*thouse; he was a world class player to boot.

I don’t know why everyone was so surprised at how he was when we played him - without that part of his game, he’s not the same player.

 

it's a shame no one had the balls to mention henry hand ball and knocking the irish out to Lebeouf!!! that was blatant cheating and everyone knows it but don't make same issue out of it as they do with suarez!! both cheated ffs!!!

Suarez on the other hand played for Liverpool. we bought a biter, he is a biter but Ferguson sent out evra to wind him up and then they fitted him up with the help of Comilla who thought he was a lot smarter than he was. Suarez fell for the baiting but they then pulled a stunt based on ignoring Spanish and the abuse efva gave out and turned a common phrasing in Montevideo into a shocking crime here.

so Suarez is pure evil but cantons is eccentric.
