Sorry mate, I won't make that mistake again. I hope that Poch has learnt from the Anfield game, but you may well be right
Kane must be on the pitch at 120 minutes in case it goes to penalties, so it may be difficult, but starting him on the bench may be the best tactic.
In this instance, where there is the possibility of penalties, any other match he would be the first name on the team sheet for me.
In my humble opinion, after 65 years a Spurs fan, this game v Ajax is the most unforgettable of the lot,Double and all! I can even take a defeat by Liverpool....but I won't like it!......and don't expect it!
Ooohhh, that's a good point actually. I didn't think about ET and penalties! I'm not sure my heart will cope with ET and penalties.
I've been saying don't start Kane, I've had vicious tongues in response and now some of you are agreeing with me. Hey ho. Let's move on.
Because some of us : 1. do not believe he will be anywhere close to 90 mins match-fit by Jun 1st. 2. want him on the team sheet if he is 30-60 mins match-fit, as he is the best striker in the squad, and chances may be few and far between < Never let the facts get in the way of a good story >
Oh I have Barney, on other sites and pundits elsewhere. Say one wrong thing about Kane and dummies get thrown out of prams. I see nothing wrong in starting the team which saw off City and Ajax. It's scoring quite well in the CL and needs no disruption. It's fair reward for excellent effort.
