Slight ricket in his assessment of Henandez. ' He did not fail to disappoint'. Well unless he didn't rate him! Bah!
I felt the same, GM. Unlike Buendia, Hernandez is a winger who has had to adapt his game to Farkeball, where the width is provided by the FBs bombing forward. That means he's operating in a tighter area much of the time. Buendia thrives on that, being more of an AM than wide player but the adjustment has shown at times with Hernandez, even though his productivity in goals and assists has continued. Much will depend on how well he gets on top of that adjustment next season. I suspect that we're looking for another option in the wide positions just in case.
Yep, I know he’s popular with fans, had an excellent season and clearly a great guy, but if I were to pick the top weakness in our starting line up for me it’s his consistency and decision making in those tight areas.
If you think of all those cold, wet Tuesday nights at the Britannia, I think the Stoke fans deserve a round of applause
Thanks FML - I've been waiting for that stat. I've seen others where they show actual numbers and Villa are usually top in that one, but their ground capacity is around 41K!!
Lambert added “ the fans were brilliant - they left so many vacant seats for the casual fans to use - it was an incredible act of generosity”
The only reason Leeds are 3rd is that so many away fans flock to Elland Rd to see Leeds and experience the magic that it pushes their home numbers down
Based on the previous season's evidence and losing the JMs, I think I was one of those. That and my performance in the predictions comp means don't ever listen to a word I say.
Nice interview with Emi, in which he admits:- What say you, Resurgam? http://sportwitness.co.uk/norwich-player-love-stay-talks-weather-beaches-leeds-uniteds-spygate/
Found it and I know several changed their vote - https://www.not606.com/threads/predict-this-seasons-goals-for-total.367461/page-2uld 'ShouldHaveBetonIr
In precisely twelve (12) days time, the club's coffers will be boosted to the tune of Steven Naismith's salary every week. Maybe fans could line the streets to wave him off ...on the yellow open-topped bus that kept breaking down Seems appropriate somehow. I'll save the dancing man emoji until the BIG day.
That's a significant amount of cash... Wilschut and Jarvis finish up shortly too. please log in to view this image
