    Sunday 12th May 3pm
    Premier League
    Tottenham Hotspur Stadium

After an incredible result on Wednesday extended our season, this game has almost been forgotten about.
It could still have quite an influence on our campaign though, so we need to treat it with the respect it deserves.
Our visitors have shown that they can put in some very good performances recently.
A point guarantees 4th place and bettering Chelsea's result would nick 3rd.
Will we end our domestic run on a high or will we head to Madrid with added pressure?

Marco Silva's debut year with Everton has been quite mixed and he's faced criticism and praise in similar measures.
The Toffees will finish outside of the European places and with a few more points than last time out.
They've also made a few impressive signings in Richarlison, Lucas Digne and Bernard.
Yerry Mina's been disappointing when fit, though and a very poor run in the middle of the campaign derailed it.
Some important wins against big sides in recent weeks will raise Evertonians spirits and expectations.

How they approach the summer may depend on who targets their better performers and if they can keep them.
Some aging legs will need to be replaced and promoting the right academy players could be key.
Will Kenny, Lookman, Davies, Calvert-Lewin and the like be given more chances or replaced?
Making Andre Gomes a permanent member of the squad may be a priority, but Zouma may return to Chelsea.
Everton have spent some real money and may expect a quick return.

Our visit to Goodison just before Christmas was one of the highlights of our domestic campaign.
You'd have been forgiven for thinking the opposite at the start though, as we missed several chances.
Walcott gave them the lead, then Calvert-Lewin thought he'd added a second, before it was chalked off for a push.
A mistake allowed Son to level and Alli gave us the lead shortly afterwards, then Kane made it three at the break.
Eriksen got the fourth, Sigurdsson pulled one back, then Son added a fifth and Kane a sixth:

The match at Wembley last season saw an Allardyce-lead side provide little resistance.
Rooney put the ball in the net early on, but it was rightly disallowed for offside and they created little after that.
Son tapped home an Aurier shot to give us the lead before Kane did the same with one of his for the second.
Kane took Sheringham's Premier League record a little later, getting his second and our third near the hour.
A lovely team goal added some gloss to the scoreline late on, as Eriksen made it 4-0:

Kane, Winks and Sanchez all miss out through injury, while Vertonghen, Rose and Wanyama will be assessed.
Son and Foyth are both suspended and will miss a further two matches next season.
Richarlison and Calvert-Lewin miss out for Everton, while Coleman will be assessed.

Lineups for each side's last league game:

Spurs: Lloris; Trippier, Sanchez, Alderweireld, Rose; Sissoko, Dier; Eriksen, Alli, Son; Moura.
Subs: Gazzaniga, Foyth, Davies, Wanyama, Skipp, Janssen, Llorente.
    League form: WWLWLL.

Everton: Pickford; Coleman, Keane, Zouma, Digne; Schneiderlin, Gueye; Richarlison, Sigurdsson, Bernard; Calvert-Lewin.
Subs: Stekelenburg, Jagielka, Baines, Davies, Lookman, Walcott, Tosun.
    League form: WWLWDW.

    Referee: Andre Marriner.

    TV: Not televised.

How do we approach this slightly odd game, given our injuries, suspensions and diverted attention?
Our limited options may restrict Pochettino's choices, but which system and tactics would you use?
Is there anyone that you'd not risk or someone that you'd like to be given a late shot at a final place?

Hopefully Everton will be in holiday mode seeing as they can no longer reach 7th whilst 9th is the lowest they can drop.

I’d rather as many of those likely to start the CHAMPIONS LEAGUE FINAL(!!!) get a well deserved rest along with avoiding the risk of injury - or a ****ing red card to join Son and Foyth in the stands for the start of next season <laugh>

    Gazza
    KWP, Dave, Toby, Davies
    Lucas, Dier, Skipp, Lamela
    Nando, Janssen

Big danger of CL final pansies + 2016 repeat here.

At best 3rd place is still up for grabs, at worst Baku-ball
(note to the squad : a gain to the club of 2m odd or a loss
of up to nigh on 100m) .

I would be bold and give Janssen a start.

Lets go out and win the match and hopefully finish 3rd. No point risking any of the players who are carrying an injury probably leaves us with this team
    Lloris
KWP (or Aurier) Toby, Dier, Davies,
    Sissoko, Skipp
    Lucas, Dele, Eriksen
    Llorente

Surely worth giving Gazza a game tomorrow?
Other than that.... Would start KWP, Dave, Dier, Ben, Wanyama, Skippy, Janssen, Llorente and Lamela. Maybe even play Aurier if fit!! <laugh>

    I'd go something like...

Gazza; KWP, Sanchez, Toby, Davies; Wanyama, Skipp; Lucas, Alli, Eriksen; Llorente

The bench will say a lot though: Eyoma is surely going to be there due to Verts' injury/knock/whatever and Foyth's suspension, and I wouldn't be surprised to see Marsh there too

I`ll be surprised if we win this game give the situation, but surely we can`t go all Spursy and throw away our CL slot, but I`d love a draw just to be safe.

For me prior to a game I don't read the BBC or Guardian because their usual stuff is neither well informed or that interesting what I do is read PNP's match thread because he is a greater authority and always produces an interesting report.
    Thanks PNP <ok>

I don't think Spurs need to rest anyone. There's 3 weeks to go until the next match. But don't rush anyone back from injury.

Spurs really do need to win tomorrow and not take any chances. Hopefully Chelsea will slip up!

I hope Vincent gets an opportunity to flourish. I would be inclined to play Skipp and KWP too. Sissoko could help marshal Skipp in midfield.
