Yep - shocking isn’t it For the record I tipped my first win of the season on our polls on Tuesday night I thought we would win But did not think we would WIN now I think we will lose once again
I only have one Spurs fan amongst my friends and he's ok. We'd get wummed ruthlessly on here no matter who beat us so it makes no difference to me. I just think we have too much quality for Ajax - although they're no pushovers - whereas games against other Prem teams are always harder to predict. I still think we should win, but it'll be a lot less comfortable.
**** spurs. **** banter. grow a pair. the spurs board is legendary for being pussy little whiners who ban people for nothing. we just don't care. if someone like our single city fan wants to drop by they are welcome. there's only one line to not cross here imo
City SHOULD have won I really don’t like that we have got an English team but it was a great game last for them and again totally deserved. Tell you what I enjoyed - after the two semi finals there has been nothing about the refs Some niggly decisions in our game but generally thought refs did well in both
I didn't see either of the Spurs games. I thought the refs in our games were ok. Though there'll always be some decisions we don't agree with, I liked the fact that neither of them succumbed to the constant harassment and whining that Barca players always give out to try and pressurise them.
Cant speak for Spurs but our mental fragility isnt as evident this compared with prior seasons gone by. Lets put the experience to use and do what we should've done last year.
How much Liverpool and Tottenham have earned from reaching Champions League final Both English sides secured their spots in Madrid with epic comebacks in their semi-finals this week Liverpool have made around £92.5million from reaching Madrid, which - due to a huge increase in Champions League revenue - is roughly £22.5million more than their run to the Kiev final last year hey would earn an extra £3.5million for winning in Madrid, taking their total up to £96million. Tottenham, meanwhile, are said to have earned just over £88million from their exploits, compared to £52.7million from reaching the last-16 last season. They too would earn an extra £3.5million if they were to lift the trophy in Madrid.
maybe all that extra cash will wake up levy to the fact that opening the purse every no and then might actually return more
****e as they have been ever since I can remember, apart from when they had Kenny Beamish playing for them.
David Beckham has been disqualified from driving for six months for using his mobile phone while at the wheel. The ex-footballer, 43, was spotted by a member of the public using his phone while driving in Great Portland Street, on 1 November last year. He pleaded guilty. Beckham was originally to be dealt with using the new single justice procedure, an administrative process not open to the press or public. But the hearing was adjourned at Bromley Magistrates Court to today, to "show cause". A member of court staff, speaking after the last hearing, explained: "The magistrates requested more information - either the circumstances in which it happened or they think they don't have enough information about the charge to make an informed decision." Beckham sent his guilty plea in by post under SJP, which is intended to free up court time by allowing magistrates to deal with low-level offences that do not warrant a prison sentence quickly. Two months before he reported for this offence the father-of-four was criticised for avoiding prosecution for a speeding charge because he received the notice for intended prosecution one day after the statutory 14 day limit. please log in to view this image Beckham given driving ban for using phone at the wheel
