Morning all. It's been wet and windy here this week and today is a Public Holiday in the Channel Islands - Liberation Day. I know I'm not the most frequent of posters, but over the summer I'll only look at the weekends to see notifications, and may make the occasional post. This has nothing to do with the debates, but simply an issue with my epilepsy, especially as I could be changing my medication again at the end of the month. I spend too much time on a fanfiction website and YouTube. It's simply a situation that if I go on my computer for even a site that I'm not on frequently, I'll then go to those as I'm already on my computer.
Morning all from an overcast, but dry and mild France. Expecting a delivery from England today, but no tracking available so don't know if it will arrive or not. It certainly helps when you can see just where a parcel has reached, and La Poste is very good at showing you if something is getting close to you. Sent a present to some friends in England for their Wedding Anniversary, and it failed to arrive on the selected day. It did arrive the next day, but M&S refunded the whole amount which was rather good of them. I haven't told my friends that their gift turned out to be a freeby.
Morning all.. Been wet here but managed to do a long walk yesterday.. Sent from my F8331 using Tapatalk
Morning all, Blowing well, overcast and showers at regular intervals. Waited in all day yesterday for the delivery that never came. Having spoken to the vendor I was assured that it would arrive by 4.00 pm. Doubt that it will arrive today as having found some form of tracking it appears to now have been returned to the main depot north-east of Paris. Good job that it is not vital, just a pain in the neck of hanging around.
Morning all. Bright and the promise of a dry day which will enable me to get on until kick off. One neighbour has a hobby of maintaining and using his 1930's tractor, and each year cuts the grass in the field across the lane. None of the modern equipment, not even a closed in cab, and only half the size of some that are in use today. He entered the field a few days ago at the bottom of the hill, and pulled his rather small mowing machine to the top, at which point clouds of smoke engulfed him. Something needed attention, and he pulled out the toolkit that he carries around. After a period it was started up again, but he wasn't happy, so detached the mower, and drove the tractor off very slowly towards his workshop. He has not returned yet, and I notice that the mower is beginning to vanish under the rapidly growing grass. I guess he might be stripping part of the engine down and even making a replacement for something, as the local garage will no longer carry any spares. Great to have such an interest, and shows us a bit of agricultural history.
Popping in the nest to say hola a todos. Hope you are all well. It is 35.9 degrees here today, the rains should be arriving soon. They really should. It has been a bit hot here recently, no lies. It is the hottest I've had it here at the end of the dry season. If someone could send us some rain, we'd be grateful. Even my semi-desert plants in our yard (Agaves, savilas, cactus..etc) look as thirsty as me leaving work on Friday. Dave, Inbred City are going to get tonked next season, I bet my 12 fingers on it!
We shall see Mex, we shall see Good morning all from a warm and dry Weston-super-Mare! Have a good day
