Yesterday he looked even sharper than last season. After not playing a competitive game since the Gold Cup you would have forgiven him if he was a little off pace but he picked up where he left off last summer. Hernandez is one year younger, and Messi has been getting all the chances that the best team in the world create for him. I think Hernandez would score 30+ for Barca a season after one season to adapt. Messi is also a unsocial ****. (I can't remember comparing Messi to Hernandez?) I think he's scored 1 unneeded goal, his first was very much needed Btw its easier to score goals coming on as a sub, as your attacking tired players, also if you come on as a sub more likely than not your goal per minute rate will be good, as soon as he started starting everything game his goal to min ratio went from a goal every 96 minutes to a goal every 110 minutes which is still class but obv it decreased a little. If both hernandez and messi started every game of the season and never got subbed off, i would expect messi to score in the region of 15 or so more goals but eh again just my opinion
