That is a spectacular result. To give Barcelona a doing with that deficit is impressive enough, but with key players missing is even more of an achievement. Amazing.
 
Have to say well done Liverpool, that was an incredible result. Yes, Barça were right off it tonight but even so, some great goals and amazing passion. Huge props to TAA for fooling Piquet and co with that corner.

Oh, and come on Ajax!
 
The La Liga Empire, just like the Serie A before, has come to its end. Its three leading clubs really need to rebuild, and whether that is with good young talent within their academies or buying at the top end of the market, we shall have to wait and see. As I see, maybe 3 or 4 players will be plucked from Ajax, but what other clubs are there available for plundering. Liverpool won´t sell, Tottenham will. Dortmund always sell. As for top Spanish talent, that is not too plentiful at the moment so expect to see French and Portuguese clubs raided.

Has Benteke scored against anyone in the past 12 months? If not he is ripe for a loan move somewhere. Maybe JWP slinging in those deadly crosses for a rejuvenated Benteke to put away. If anyone can get the best out of him, why shouldn´t it be Ralph.

Yeah, I understand why the demonstrativeness puts some off, but it's never seemed anything short of genuine. He's just a very excitable and moderately deranged man who likes football very much, and his players seem to love him for it.

Personally, klopp just ****ing irritates me and I just want to punch him.

This was pre-Liverpool, too. Just the first of person who would wind me up in real life.
