In past years, standard loans would finish on a specified date, usually the last day of the regular season, then their registration would revert to their parent club at once - meaning the player in question would be eligible to play in play-off games. However surely players we have on loan would also go back to their parent clubs The players in question are Robson embleton kone and shields
I've been wondering about that myself Vince. Would Morgan, Dunne and Sterling be eligible for the playoffs?
Possibly Luke Molyneux could be back, he is another player who looked decent at the start of the season.
Just been hearing about Ethan Robson impressing North of the Border, its great that he is doing well and he is another one who has never let us down when called upon, this time last year our young guns were taking aim and shooting down Wolves, I thought they would have been given more of a chance this season, but not to be. Of course if we get through via the play-offs the whole picture could change, but after the last few games sadly its looking very much a long shot.
I’m sure contacts always run to 1st July. This is why you see players sign for clubs then join them then. My understanding was that was standardised. If I’m right, I’d suspect this relates to loaners as well.
In league terms it’s a full season loan which means they are ours until the transfer window opens technically. They will be available for the play offs (the ones which are on loan to us). I’m pretty sure that those who are out on loan are technically still on loan until the window opens. Loan rules changed whe e a player can now only the transfer window I believe
The Dundee fans turned on Ethan Robson and the rest of their loan players for a lack of effort. I think they went about 10 games in a row getting beat which relegated them.
Ethan isn't a loan player though he signed on the dotted line for them. Can say owt about the lack of effort.
