So the flat season is now in full swing following the Newmarket classics and the NH season has finished save for a bit of summer jumping. But in the UK tomorrow we have 3 NH meetings, 1 flat turf and some sand rats. Go figure.

Wheelbarrow job at Exeter 19.20 Darcy Ward. 10/11. Should be 1/5. Pile on I say

Wiinings could go on Fifty Shades in the 15.45 Fakenham at 11/4. Tasty

2 days to fill my money bag ready for 'Our Big Day Out'; my recent record suggests I'll be taking small change with me, not folding stuff LOL :emoticon-0102-bigsm
( the weather forecast isn't looking too good either, which is a shame )
Let's see if I can find a couple of winners.

Hello, everyone. Hope we all well.

Am really looking forward to Time Test’s half-brother Tempus making his 3YO bow this eve at Wolverhampton (8.30). Not a betting proposition, at current quotes of 4/6, but I am eagerly awaiting his return…

But the big question, following the weekend action (well for me anyway), has to be is Fusil Raffles, after his Grade1 win at Punchestown, now a creditable challenger for the 2020 Champion Hurdle??? I’d say yes. Especially after the ’19 renewal debunks the theory that 5YO can’t win one. And given he’ll benefit from another summer on his back, The Lieutenant’s ‘magic hands’ and brilliant brain, he’s some prospect, crew. Is available at 25/1 for the race but Coral’s go just 12’s which begs the further question, ‘What do they know?!?’

    Good luck all.

I bet Chuckles Towers will be having a celebratory champers today over the birth of the latest royal baby. Saluting and marching in the Towers parade ground by the Wiltshire Fusiliers (or whatever) and all that? Do you think the Lieutenant will be asked to be Godfather? Exciting days for a devout Royalist like you, Sir Barney? <whistle> <laugh> <bubbly>

Just noted this. One of the best bred horses in training is set to make his debut soon (Frankel – Ramruma) but he’s already been gelded! The 3YO Imperium (cost €100,000 as a yearling) has an entry at Ascot on Saturday in a 12 furlong maiden.

Shall I start another thread about a further 2020 Triumph Hurdle hopeful?!?

Yes, I raised a glass or 2. The old boy is, after all, Princess Camilla’s step-grandson.

    18:50 Exeter - Ginjo e/w

(Hopefully dreaded 'bounce' factor will not happen here, as has a decent chance. E/W @ 9/1 with Unibet at time of writing.)

Debuted in a four runner race only two weeks ago in a race dominated by more experienced horses. That run will have done him good and I expect to see a decent performance today with a place or better on the cards!

OK, this is a sign - all the effort is not worth it, just enjoy.
Stick with the pocket money I already have for Thursday and that will do.
Then on the day, just trust your instincts ( or back everything Franny is on or Dr Koukash owns ).

    hi lads!

fakenham,3 45: plenty of chances here, but i think, you need a horse, that likes this unique track,as its not anyones cup of tea.EMERALD ROSE is definitely one of these, with three wins to her name, including this race 12 months ago(albeit a bit lucky, but good effort nevertheless..).she didnt show much after a break last time out,but may have been saved for this again, and is only 1 lbr higher,so surely not discounted today..e w value..
