I didn’t mention net spend, you did. I never mentioned a timeframe either. There’s always different ways to look at stats to suit a position
Nah, we reached a CL final plus made our record sale of a player, then spent a bit more money in the following window, so all of City's spending is now null and void.
We are able to match city pounds to pounds, even if they win the league we have given them a rub for their money. We are not too far away from them
I agree and don't really pay attention to what teams spend including my own. Once all the silly transfer business is done it's time to create a team and that's where the real work is done by good managers like Klopp and Pep.
Man City 1-0 Leicester: Pep Guardiola hoped Vincent Kompany would not shoot https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/48179299
The thing is if you want to talk about spend you have to look at something. You just made a statement/assumptions based on nothing. I took 5 seconds to look at a site I knew would have done the work for me. I'm more surprised that fans of football are willing on the team that's financially doped tbh.
This is how we end up with #brexit and #bbcsalford Just slap "We send some money to Europe" on the side of a bus or constantly refer to Alisson and Van Dijk's fees and suddenly people lose all their senses
Sterling had a few swannies last night like, defender got the ball in all of them. People in glasshouses and all that....
Funny isn't it? A psychologist would have a bloody field day on here - all forms of cognitive bias are laid out for all to see.
You know what else is funny, other fans discovering the Liverpool board at this time in the season but they're not on the wind-up ... honest
Any real or true fans of football (however you interpret that) should be loving the fact that this season has been mesmerising. I'd like to think most are. The spiteful ones, of which there are many, I feel sorry for that their biggest enjoyment of the great game is watching and waiting for someone to fail. What a miserable existence.
I think it's a shame tbh. We're all fans of the game so we should have common ground, but the visitors who come to actually discuss football are few - most only seem to want to use it as a form of tribalism.
