45 deaths due to stabbing in London as of this week
January 1: Charlotte Huggins, 33, and Tudor Simionov, 33 Charlotte was the first knife murder victim of the new year. She died in Camberwell just after 4am on January 1. The second person to be killed was Mr Simionov, who was stabbed to death by gatecrashers outside a New Year’s Eve party in Mayfair. January 8: Jaden Moodie, 14 Jaden was travelling on a moped when he was struck by a car in Waltham Forest. It is believed three men then got out of the car and stabbed the teenager ‘seven times’. January 27: Kamil Malysz, 34 Kamil, a Polish national, was found dead after being stabbed in his flat in Acton. January 29: Nedim Bilgin, 17 Nedim was stabbed to death in Caledonian Road, Islington, during a fight with at least two other teenagers when he refused to hand over his bicycle. February 5: Lajean Richards, 19 Lajean was stabbed outside his family home in Battersea, less than a five-minute walk from Prince George’s £17,000-a-year Thomas’s School. February 8: Aliny Mendes, 39 Stay-at-home mum Aliny was stabbed to death outside a school in Cheam, Surrey, Greater London. February 10: Dennis Anderson, 39, Dennis, a father, was stabbed in the neck inside an off licence in East Dulwich in the early hours of February 10. A worker at the shop said Mr Anderson was attacked after a row about cigarettes. February 18: Bright Akinleye, 22 Bright collapsed and died in the lobby of the Wesley Hotel, near Euston Station, after he was stabbed. February 21: Glendon Spence, 23 Glendon was stabbed to death at a youth club in Brixton, close to where several children were taking part in a football training session. February 22: Kamali Gabbidon-Lynck, 19 Kamali was stabbed to death as he fled a fight in Wood Green. He was chased into a hair salon by a gang on bikes armed with knives, a gun and a samurai sword. February 25: David Lopez-Fernandez, 38 David, a Spanish national, was pronounced dead after being found with stab wounds in Tower Hamlets. February 26: Che Morrison, 20 Che died at the scene after being stabbed outside Ilford Railway Station. March 1: Jodie Chesney, 17 Jodie was stabbed from behind as she sat with friends in a playground near her home in Romford. A gang used two cars to stop traffic before ambushing the victim in a street in Harlesden before he ran into a bookmakers to get help. April 27: Unknown, 29 A man was stabbed to death in east London by a group in a white Ford SUV-type vehicle, the Met Police said. The 29-year-old was found injured on Frampton Park Road in Hackney at about 2.45pm. He died in hospital. May 1: Tashuan Jones, 15 Tashuan was discovered in a pool of blood as his sister screamed for help after a double stabbing in Dalston, east London.
