    Really impressive thread RTB <applause>

Hope you don't mind, but I have "pinched" some of it for the Pompey page thread :emoticon-0148-yes:

Will hopefully watch the game on SKY Sports.

May the best team win over two legs.......

This is the bit I don't like. If Matthews, Grigg by all accounts don't look interested going into these games then I would leave them out all together. We have had too much of this Sh*t over the years to put up with it anymore. Rather play the young kids with hunger even though these are huge games. Attitude is going to be crucial now.

Thanks for all the kind words. My dad had a good innings really - I hope I can reach 90.
I knew it was on the cards when I saw him at Christmas so it's hardly a surprise. The good thing is that he was well looked after and went very peacefully.

Anyway this is the match thread I'm sure the old man would want me to carry on doing the things I enjoy.

I will be up in the North East for the weekend - hopefully the lads can provide something to smile about.

Sorry for your loss RTB, sincere condolences.

Thanks for yet another cracking match thread. Bought my tickets today, usual mix of excitement and anxiety - surely we’ve got to bounce back from the disappointments of the last few weeks and finally beat Pompey?

I’ve got the same feeling, I reakon they will be confident and that will work in our favor.
Hopefully we put a good few past them so we are out of sight before the second leg.

Of course the bindippers result shows, anything is possible in sport

So although our recent form and play off history is nothing to build confidence on... we can do it....we can

My thoughts are given the kick off time I’m going to be arseholed when I get there.

I have no ****ing clue about the outcome of the game though.

Is it true we’ve only sold 20,000 tickets for this? If so it’s a ****ing disgrace tbf.

Was a load of bollocks mate. They pulled a screenshot when was only open to season ticket holders, which means there was close to 100% take up from those. General sale just started.
