@remembercolinlee Give it him......give it to him, so that he never forgets.... Oh what a sight, Watching Tottenham on a Wednesday night, You play Thursdays cos you're ****ing ****e, What a feeling, what a night.
Xhaka master class. We hated football yesterday, it got a little better today, lets hope it becomes fantastic Wednesday night.
I don't care any more. I'm interested to see if Salford or AFC Fylde get into the league though. I don't care because it's evident that too few Utd players care. Spurs are the best of the four teams who competed for 3rd to 6th - by default and by virtue of the other three having a lot of issues to resolve.
Only one question, and the same as it was exactly 7 seasons ago : Why did the PL final third collapse happen ?? The only difference is that Pochettino is unlikely to be clearing his desk a few weeks from now. PS : I don't wanna see ONE effing Chesney-mode Internet media posting from ANY of the squad other than if they are CL winners come the end of May,
No home stadium, no signings, injuries to everyone and we've qualified for the CL and are in the semi-final. Yeah, we haven't played well, apart from about 5 or 6 halves of football but.....it could still be a great season. Right now, I need a ****ing drink. COYS!
There have been players that we've got rid of who I was genuinely gutted by their departure. Fabregas, Nasri, van Persie, Sanchez, Cazorla...but this current team? There isn't anyone, bar maybe 3 players, who I would care about leaving. In my lifetime, this is the most unlikeable, arrogant group of players I have seen. And I hope they get every single bit of vicious abuse in their direction. They deserve it. Useless bottlers.
Apparently, some of the Arsenal team watch it too - and I hope they do tonight. Because I want every single one of them to know exactly what we think of them and just how ****ing useless they are.
Happy St. Arseholes Day people.... now for a reality check. Thanks **** for Brighton (and Chrissy Hughton), thank **** for Palace, thank **** for Wolves, thank **** for Leicester. And most of all, thank **** that somehow Arsenal have been even more **** than us this season. God knows how. But the fact remains, we're a ****ing shambles. To realistically be celebrating scraping 4th place (unless we have a clusterfuck and leak goals more that a second hand colander), it's a disgrace that a team as poor as Chelsea have been this season have been allowed to steal 3rd place from us. The season is not done yet and I do wonder if Arsenal's priority has been placed solely on the Europa Tin Cup in recent weeks. If they win that, am I correct is assuming they get Champions League football next season? So before we all pop the cork and enjoy finishing above the scum, they could end the season with silverware and a guaranteed place in Europe's elite competition next season. If that happens, who's had the better season I wonder....
We live to fight another day, but I hope getting CL qualification doesn't paper over the cracks. The last 2 months has been a PL self-destruction of biblical proportions. Like Verts, I'll take it, but we - and Chavs, Gooners & ManUre, don't 'deserve' to be in the CL next year. For me, our chance to deserve anything out of this, season is in getting past Ajax to the Final. And our performance yesterday has undermined that - I just hope not terminally. Our best players, already running on empty, had to overwork for 50 minutes and are unlikely to be recovered enough to take up the fight on Wednesday. Bloody hope I'm wrong. COYS!!
In fairness it was a very, very soft penalty. But Xhakahaha was inept to let March march across him, and totally daft to stretch an arm out and give him an excuse to go to ground. You can even see the Arsenal player glance at the covering defender coming to close March down before he decides to stick the arm out. Maybe the covering player was Mustafi and so he thought 'feck it, penalty is better than a certain goal'? But with so much at stake it beggars belief how poor United and Arsenal were.
I've stayed away from the board after yesterdays result because I was in such a foul mood , just seen my gooner neighbour come back from the pub with a face like a slapped arse . 1-1 to Brighton lmao , suddenly the balance is back, COYS a big effort in the dam
Not yet. But his in game management has been extremely poor the last few games. We were in a very good position 5 games ago and we've totally ****ed it up. He has to take accountability for it, but at the same time, these players have let us down in previous seasons too, so it's not like it's something new under Emery. If we see more performances and results like this next season though, he has to go. He signed a two-year contract with an option for a third year, so if we're not closer to getting CL football next season, he will leave at the end of the 2020 season.
