That's quite sobering. The worst team we have ever had! Poor form couldn't have come at a worse time. Typical Sunderland.

Not my idea of football, can’t blame anyone who doesn’t renew . Ross out if we don’t go up , there’s plenty of people can get you out of this league, if he thought Dunne was the answer to our central defence problem in January anyone with a brain on here must know his judgement is a s hit, he’s not up to it.

Given the meds the club was in I think JR has done a great job. It’s an entirely new team. Yes, some signings haven’t lived up to it and agreed some mistakes made. However, we’ve still got an opportunity to be promoted. Next year will be a huge challenge irrespective of the league we are in

That's what I was saying, drop Grigg for Sterling who at least has a bit of life and pace in him.

As far as I know Grigg is playing with an injury so fair enough he's not himself but it's frustrating watching him sleepwalk through every game. Wyke has finally woken up and has been doing well so I reckon we pair him with Sterling in training and prep them for the playoffs.

JR has made a few mistakes no doubt, but he should be given a second season, if the decisions on transfers and game management are not improving, then maybe think of a change by Xmas, but not before then.

Worrying that JR can not see this, and it makes me doubt the injury story. If he is injured he should not be playing, as he has been awful from day one. Two decent goals have given us a glimpse of what he can do, but in half a season, not good enough. The only thing on fire is Donalds trousers.

Plain crazy to even consider parting with Ross. We were in club in free fall. He came in bought a team of relative unknowns and we have lost 5 games this season. We have been to Wembley and now with a chance in the play offs. The fans have engaged with the club once again and yes we are all disappointed, but Ha'way lads...get a grip, we are where we are after years of mismanagement. We will be back, might take a little longer, but we will be back

Absolutely. Grigg looks like he has no pace and might be able to finish if he can make it to the right place... Sterling has looked like he can’t finish but he causes problems as he’s tricky and fast. Bit “little boy lost” at the end of the run but at least he makes defenders think

Quite a few think we only needed a few to sort it. But the coaching staff had to train with the team to make the numbers up at the start of the season. It’s been a complete rebuild again. And it would all start again if we got rid of another manager

Apart from the fact that Ross has actually done a good job the thought of yet another rebuild makes me shudder. It's time for stability.

I would look at hiring a different assistant manager though, or an extra one, some tough nut who knows the league. Ross and his ass man will know more about it now but we've been a bit naive all season and will probably be the same next year. Several players haven't been up to scratch too and will need moving on.

We have 5 CBs, should any be retained?

Also Ovideo is a good LB but too expensive to keep? Hume good 1st teamer

I reckon, Catts and Leadbitter are too slow together..Catts and Power works.

Is 09 the creative midfielder together with Maguire... one striker with Mcgeady

That is the first team...I presume Watmore will come into the equation...not sure about the Celtic lad, but Gooch can go and although Honeyman runs around a lot I doubt he is starter
Mceouch (sp) is a 50 50 for me

    Let's hope Griggs improves

So that is I think my retain list..

We need better CBs and CMs.. I think we have a couple of youngsters that may make the cut (if they sign a new contract?)

good job Charlton won 4-0 to avoid them !.Notice how biased SKY were yesterday, did not show the Sunderland supporters once, always their lot or the manager, just like the set up at sid james's always the close ups of their mugs, packed away end as well, now we will get a load of the famous Pompey afro supporter whoever he is, but i would shove their supporters in the roker end for what happened last time. Grigg got a poor rating in the sun today, Flanagan out and Dunn in, Kimpo in for Grigg, Sterling for Kyle double Wyke, Cattermole in as well, take the game to Pompey and this is one last chance for players to redeem. I hope Watmore could play in the final if we get there. If mcgeady does not play i am not going.

Grigg looks like his mind is somewhere else, he's not interested and doesn't want to be here

Interesting comments, absolutely the last thing needed is a change of management. Too many changes led to the relegations
