If you get in at half time drawing and still with 10 men on the pitch I'd count that as a result so far. Could easily be 9 men.

But... all it takes is a quick break away and a young keeper making a rash challenge. Ref will probably be looking to even it up and game flips on it's head.

 

I know we’re in a CL semi but this is by far the least enjoyable season I’ve had for about five years. Just want it to end.

Loads of **** performances and stupid mistakes by so many players. Just **** off.

Dier needs to come of at half-time and we need to stifle the match and hope to nick a point.
Can't see it happening though, so we're ****ed, really!

 

He looks shot though, was playing badly and I think that the frustration in his performance led to the red mist and the card to match.

We must get Dier off and hope that Lucas can hit them on the break.

 

I don't think it was worth a red card, he pushed him in the chest, quite hard admittedly, but it wasn't to the face. However I guess that makes up for the 2 penalties and red you should've had.

 

We won’t win this. In all my years of supporting spurs we are one of the worst teams when down to 10 men. I can’t remember us ever fronting up and grinding out a win when being a man down.

 

Sending off and injuries happen to every team, every season. We should expect things like this. It’s football.
Our major problems stems from the lack of investment in areas where the squad needed them. We’re paying for it now.
We have a combination of players who are burnt out, out of form, over played, and out of ideas.
I can’t say I’m surprised.

Dier looks like a red card walking as well. Get him off for Wanyama and rely on Lucas turning it on, or get aggressive and stick Nando or Janssen on to hold the ball up to help us break.

Bantz aside, why do you guys always do this?
As @Spudulike said, this is exactly like against Chelsea 3 years ago.
Complete meltdown in the run in!! I still think you will get top 4 though, purely because ourselves (Chelsea), Arsenal and Man utd have been ****ing awful as well.
Think it will be Chelsea and Spurs who get 3rd and 4th, though we might be able to steal 3rd from you after this if you dont get a result here. Knowing Chelsea this season tho, we will probably blow it too.

 

It was part of the action of making the challenge. He didn’t deviate at all he got the ball and that was it.
I agree with the other penalty and that Dier should have been sent off

 

I've just muted the sound on my tv cos I sick and tired of listening to all the anti Spurs bias that seems to be a part of watching Sky sports and as for Alan Smith he can just **** off and die!
