I know I'm easily confused - but you have predicted 4 goals , but only 3 scorers ( without nominating for which team ) - AND - there is no player named Parker in either team -- although I like the name Dodoo - one of Blackpool's forwards ( with a name like that he'd fit in with Gills' style of play ). ..... have I been of any help ?
I have never predicted the other team's scorers for this season. However, I did right royally screw up with the Gills scorers. My amended prediction is: Blackpool 1 - 3 Gillingham (Eaves, Hanlan and Ehmer to score for the Gills) My prediction for the Blackpool scorer is brb (og). As he quite often scores an og, then I am sure it will be something special for this last game of the season
Blackpool 1-1 Gills (Eaves + Parker to launch one from the Valley that ricochets off the tower and finds the back of the Gills net in stoppage time)
Patchy, I put in a prediction for the Plymouth game and got the right result, the 2 points might not put me on top of the prediction league, but would put me 1 point ahead of brb. Just to give him a chance to come back and overtake me, i will go for a silly result v Blackpool. Blackpool 2 v 6 Gillingham (, Delfueneso, Gnainduilett, List x2, Hanlon x3, RCC)
Well, if we're being silly............... if the result is 2-6, and if the Blackpool scorers are as you state - and List scores 2, RCC gets one and Hanlon gets the other two, I shall demand to see evidence of his registration ! ---- silly enough for you ? ( you've hod all seasan. )
have missed several games this season due to work commitments, sad to see SL go with just 2 games to go. I met Evans when he was No2 to Steve Coppell at Reading in 2006 when they came to the Algarve for pre-season training NASTY MAN But too today I think we will go out losing sorry and a safe trip to all travelling as well Pool 2 v 1 Gills
The events before our last game, combined with the fact that there's nothing really to play for have really left me not giving a flying fig (to use language that is permissible) about this game. I was originally planning to go and celebrate our last game this season and our continued life in L1, but those events have left me with grave issues about how I can continue to support the club under the present chairman. I know that is unfair on the team, who are completely blameless in terms of the issue that is causing me this concern, and I'll probably resolve the internal crisis over the summer (depending on who is appointed to various positions), but I'm done for this season.
