Were all "Men Of Harlech" from Harlech? If you knew Brid then you would know references from Brid types would be to Burlington Jackdaws and Bollington. Which is another sad story and the cause of arguments in pubs.
There are worse than that in Brid nowadays. It isn't as bad as it was. You can feel safe walking through there after dark nowadays.I am sure you probably know City fan who lived there.
Just went there to buy a CB radio years ago Mr Barchullona From a bloke who I thought had black shoes on till I realised those shoes were his feet. That was while I was working at Butlins filey
Watched the first stage of this years TDY on catch up on ITV, the weather looked awful, cold and wet. Good to see the break away made it to the line to take the win though. I thought this picture summed up the weather, I have ridden across his bridge a few time. please log in to view this image
The weather was awful. Only an idiot would turn out in pouring rain (twice) to take a few photos. Guilty as charged. Baldrick does The Tour de Yorkshire, postcode area DN6 and YO8...

The wind was sure blowing for the girls Brid to Scarborough. Vos won an intriguing race, should be a good one for the men this afternoon.

The weather and terrain certainly showed a typical Yorkshire day, 4 seasons in a day. Sleet, rain, wind and Sunshine. Both the men's and women's races were very good, with the women's IMO the better of the two.
If the wave that hit the shore in the last 800 meters or so, been a fraction later and a little bit stronger, that would have made it interesting..
Great finish to the men's race, with Ineos Chris Lawless winning overall. Credit to his teammate Eddie Dunbar who set him up for the win. Greg van Avermaet winning the stage by a bike length from Lawless. I have to say these small teams, make for much better racing than the world tour big teams who control the races such as the Tour De France. please log in to view this image
