As I said, and Davids just confirmed, you cannot just let these ****ers play. They’ll tear you apart. You have to get stuck into them. Hassle them.
The ref, fourth official and linesman all felt very strongly he was done for the night. Our physios disagreed. Poch had to apologise to the ref afterwards for the decision to send him back on. Our physios need to be sent the same way as our scouting team in my opinion. Being able to recognise the symptoms of concussion is pretty elementary stuff.
I think it’s got to the point for Trippier where deep down he knows he’s had a poor season and he’s gonna be moved on. He is playing like a man devoid of confidence and can’t even excel in the strengths he does have.
