Correct. Not sure when that was. But I don't remember the football being particularly better under him.
I assume that if he was decent at the time then he would have got the job permanently, although now has a lot more managerial experience being him.

Yes about 4 spells if I remember correctly. When we changed manager every time Flavio had a spray tan. I also seem to recall that we didn't lose many or win many - a run of efficient draws by and large as he learned from the best the art of possession football.

Can’t imagine it’s too appealing to be told the club will be offloading the best talent and not having money to buy new players.
Nope it certainly lacks any form of ambition for a manager who wants to win things or at least progress to be in a position to compete. This job is for either someone who is just happy to pick up a pay cheque and avoid relegation or a stop gap/stepping stone to bigger and better things.
Or if it is someone with strong QPR ties it'll be for someone who genuinely cares about the future of the club which would be someone like Ainsworth or Bircham.
I hope Ainsworth doesn't get the job with the club in it's current state. He could ruin his reputation that he built up as a player here. I would like Phil Parkinson to walk away from Bolton, come to us as he is used to dealing with lots of crap and maybe bring one or two players with him.
