Could well be that he will have a decent budget but only after he has shifted the crap out the squad. Youd think any premier league club could spend £25/30m without having to sell, add-in player sales and what we would save on wages then we might actually have a fairly large budget
If we’re not going to stretch our finances for Ralph then when will we? Hopefully Kat/Gao have been shown that austerity doesn’t work. I’d back Ralph to improve any player he brings in. It doesn’t have to be irresponsible, but we’re debt free and can risk it and as we’ve proven with Van Dijk or Mane, you can double your money or more with the right investment
I'm quite open to the fact that the board will provide funds in the summer. But I'll remain sceptical for now as to how much more we can bring in through player sales. In the main we're talking about players who we couldn't shift (other than on loan) last January or last summer (or even further back that that, in the case of someone like Clasie). I don't necessarily see why things would any different this time.
You would really hope that even the board can see if the poor transfer business of recent seasons carries on we will inevitably go down. I see Hassenhuttl as a fantastic opportunity to carry on where we left off after Koeman and put these 3 crap seasons behind us. If we dont back him then he may well move to someone who will
That reminded me of this. If you don't know about Flight of the Conchords, then have a delve because it's genius.
As this is the rumours thread I though id just carry this over from Saints web! It's laughable... but keeps us entertained. Ok ok ok. Roll up roll up. Sorry I’ve been dormant, I’ve been on my travels, I however have been given a trove of “info”. Detailed below. Outs:- McCarthy Hoedt Cedric Stephens Reed Moi Lemina Gallagher Austin Gabbi Sims Ings Ins:- Joakim Mæhlea Che Adams Florian Aye Ronaldo Mandragora Rafael Toloi Tom Cairney Ryan Sessi Luca Connell Mbwana Samatta ohikhuaeme omoijuanfo Paulhino (haeken) Ben Heinrichs Niklas Sule Ings In no way am I saying these will all happen or if any of them, please do not hate.
Well I assume it was written as we had a obligation to buy him as we did and then sell him on, but f' knows. It's silly season.
Those wanting to get rid of Nathan all have the same name, have you noticed? They are all from a family called Head. Richard is a favourite name, but never understand why anyone would call their child Nob. The same people seem to think we should get rid of Ings, as all those wonderfully weighted through balls be plays that make Nathan look good are no substitute for not scoring himself. Oh you have to laugh, don't you?
Have you been talking to yourself for long, mate? You need to get out more. For what it's worth, you are on the money with this comment!
