    4.20 Punchestown Quick Grabim.

My very strong fancy for the Supreme Novices Hurdle before he suffered a setback and missed Cheltenham. Prior to that he looked very smart in winning the Royal Bond on good ground, finishing 7 lengths ahead of the good yardstick Aramon. That doesn't give him much to find with Klassical Dream and at the prices he is a cracking bet. Still 66/1 with Skybet for next year's Champion Hurdle and that could look great value tomorrow evening. He looks a real 2 mile speedster so I imagine his future will be hurdling rather than chasing.

    6.05 Punchestown A Plus Tard.

As discussed on the NH season review thread, I think this fella is destined for the very top. Absolutely flew up the Cheltenham hill to win the Close Brothers and I just see him having too much speed at the finish for his rivals here.

Lieutenant Henderson chasing the Land Rover again and has Patrick Mullins booked to ride Son Of Camas. Just on the name of course, but Arthur Fonzarelli catches my eye <ok>

PP have their money back offer if the favourite wins, only to a tenne stake but surely that makes Quick Grabim a quality bet?

When I looked earlier on Oddschecker PP were only going 5s on Quick Grabim - plenty of 8s elsewhere

Keeping my views on this race between you and me mate. I want yours to win or at the very least give you something to be excited about going forward. Best of luck.

In the punchestown bumper I’ll be having a go with Dylan power and scalor.nothing really jumps out, scalor has some form and Dylan power looks well bred to me.

    4.55 Punchestown- Raya Time 8/1

Not a strong fancy but should be shorter - Tony Martin looks to have laid Golden Spear out not having rub since November but is carrying top weight for that win and is on the drift too. Raya time still a maiden however has some good form notably second to the Antepost fav for the supreme 2 yrs running and never made it Annamix (I am joking <laugh>) his third behind City Island and Dallas Des Pictons (5l behind the winner that day off level weights) he comes in to this off a mark of 127 which could be a pretty lenient mark , always runs a true race, is consistent and will be a decent ew bet.

Nice spot Woolly, I do like that piece of form with City Island and DDP (who should have won at Cheltenham but was given a shocking ride)

Interestingly, Lieutenant Henderson trained the dam. She didn’t win in 11 starts but was Listed placed. Given that Raya Time cost €150,000 he’s got a very attractive perch of just 127.

The novice staying chase is an intriguing little contest. A Plus Tard 2nd fav got his arse handed to him on a silver platter by Winter Escape at Punchy a few runs back and reopposes on worse terms. One is 9/4 and the other 25/1. Delta Work did well to finish as close as he did in the RSA considering g his jumping was generally poor. It will need to be better today if he is to prevail. My little ew interest is Drovers Lane for the luvly Rebecca. Not a bad run in the RSA and will be closer today on the better ground. 33/1 just too big.

Great to see that Whisper, who has been off the course since St Stephens Day ’17, has been given an entry for Uttoxeter at the weekend. He’s been dropped 6 lbs since that run and would, on Saturday, go off 163.

    afternoon,fellas!

    brighton,3 25:

a tricky contest, but i think,BUBBLE AND SQUEAK has a decent run in her.didnt show much on her seasonal debut, but that came in a top handicap, and the last time, she won,was in a class 3,like today.has been dropped a few pounds by the assessor,so a good run might be forthcoming..
