supporting Rangers in over 50 years. A losing mentality, no money and less then inspiring people at the helm. We are ******:emoticon-0106-cryin:emoticon-0106-cryin:emoticon-0106-cryin:emoticon-0106-cryin:emoticon-0106-cryin:emoticon-0106-cryin:emoticon-0106-cryin

And yet at one stage just a few points off 6th. Definitely depressing but can any one explain that terminal decline?

This is why it is depressing. We had a wonderful October...a pretty good Nov and Dec. On New year's Day we were two places off the playoffs. We had a cup run...and then just decline. Steeve won manager of the month in October ( that was obviously the cause of the decline!!!!)

    No I cannot explain it...

But because of the fun I had in the 2018 part of season...no it is not the most depressing.

I certainly fear for next season too.
We will do real well not to be in a constant relegation battle. But one thing for certain...QPR are never predictable. We live to fight another season.

Has been a crap season for me but highlights were winning at Forest for the first time. A good win at the fakes with loads of beer and an old school day out at Pompey in the cup.

Yes mate, I've been supporting this club for 48 years and felt compelled to write pretty much your comments yesterday.
We need a shining light but l can't see where it will come from.

Pompey was a fun day. Feels like a long time ago now.

I guess off the pitch it’s been great to meet a few of you and I’ve had a great eight months or so personally. As is usually the case, Rangers failed to be the cherry on the cake.

Miserable season especially because at one stage we looked decent, close to the playoffs even then I would have accepted 11/12th.
Will I be back next year?
    Of course I ****in’ will

I went to see 13 home games this season. Saw only 3 win (Villa, Brentford and Swansea), 2 draws and 8 home defeats. When you get an early morning red eye flight and get home quite late, it is demoralising to see nearly 3 times as many defeats as wins. Will I do similar next season, my head says not as many games but my heart will probably persuade me to go.

I don’t know whether to stand in awe of your incredible commitment to this shambles or try and arrange therapy for you. Bit of both.

Have renewed for next season but don’t know what to expect! Looking forward to watching chair & Smyth play & I bloody hope they do as they are better than what we got at present, this season is one to forget we’ll since 2019 & 9 points from 20 games assuming we get nothing from Sheffield Wednesday is nothing short abysmal.

53rd year and possibly only the awful summer of administration following our relegation was worse although that bred the 'Us against the World' attitude as the team was rebuilt from scratch which was a few years I actually enjoyed the fight our team showed.

What makes this worse is the knowledge we have so much self-inflicted damage we're in a malaise that needs something special to turn things round and nothing I've seen since Schteeve was sacked tells me it's going to change from ill thought out decisions followed by panic...

My 5 year-old grandson (who is officially an Arsenal supporter because of his Dad but is showing more and more interest in QPR) just asked me what position QPR were. 'We're 19th', I said. 'Ooh, that's bad'. 'Yes, but we'll be better next season'. 'How do you know?', he asked, not unreasonably. 'It's called optimism', I explained.

The most depressing thing is that there really hasn't been a peep from the boardroom all season. Most football fans live on hope rather than expectation and a few positive words from the owners about the long term plan would have let us overlook much of the dross we've put up with. The fact that there has been nothing - coupled with zero progress on training ground or new stadium - really does scare me as there is no longer even a pretence that we can somehow overcome our financial straits. It seems we are quietly being allowed to decline by owners that have lost interest.
