Imagine the meltdown if we had conceded again from the numerous times of surrendering possession. The plan didn't work, we were lucky they were unable to make anything happen from all the times we gifted them the ball back.
And we were drawing, not winning. Awful tactic.

 

But it did work.we held onto the point............

 

Hate seeing us waste time in the corners, looks and feels awful.

I don't disagree. It's hard to argue that defense isn't very good as it current stands.

I would keep Bednerak and Valery though. Because I think both can and will improve. We aren't the type of club that can just buy all of our players.

We are going to have to develop our own. And I think Bednatek and Valery are both going to end up at least average PL players (they are very close already, some might argue they already are) and quite possibly better. So you have to hang on and play guys like that, even if it costs you a bit in the short term.

I'm okay with Vestergaard, in a way. He's quite decent in the right spot. He should not be playing every game, but if the club ends up needing to save some money, I would be okay with getting a CB who can play against quicker teams and just rotating between that player and Vestergaard.

When are we going to be able to keep a lead? We have lost so many points from winning positions, Ralph really needs to improve that. Opponents are going to know that even if we go one or two goals ahead we can still concede that many

Agree that we need to improve in this area, but at least we have started scoring.....and from all over the pitch.

 

Getting a dominant leader in the centre of the defence would help greatly.

 

We're scoring, and missing big chances, which suggests we are making bloody loads of opportunities! Exciting to watch though. Well, except when we................

 

The main thing is that the team (and Ralph) is never predictable and the days of watching the same tactics fail for an entire match are thankfully over.

Thought we just edged it though a draw was ok. Real good game of tactics with the two managers.

The plus I take is we scored 3 very good well worked goals, IMO we gifted them theirs.
