I can understand that, and after a long season of 44 games plus cup games (not been able to talk about cup 'games' for many a year, feels good) you could forgive the players for relaxing a bit. However, for us there is the small matter of pride. After our first ever win at the City Ground in December, I've used my great powers of deduction, and worked out this must mean we've never previously done the double over them. It's not important, I know, and it won't make any difference to our league finish, but it's a pride thing isn't it. Wouldn't it be lovely to finish the season able to thank that Forest fan you know for the six points, something he or she may have thanked you for many times, but you've never been able to. It's a small thing, and maybe I'm just an old romantic, but I'd love to see the players grasp that element of pride and play for no other reason than passion, play for the fans. I'll add team news when on the official but enjoy the last home game those who are going and... COME ON You Super Hoopsa!!!
Are you looking forward to the summer break Dave? Thanks for sticking to this thankless task. Another game, this one totally pointless whatever the result, it’s only impact will be to wind us up further or give us fleeting false hope. Yay.
Well, we won at the City Ground for the first time ever so I suppose losing to them to create another record would dovetail nicely, we're just the team that keeps on giving...
My dad will regularly ask me who a player is who has been playing regularly for us for years and he’s seen dozens of times. Bright could be with us for ten years and he would think it’s Andrew Impey.
Is the epitome of loyalty and greed Jack “Judas” Robinson playing or is he doing a Lynchy sunning himself on a beach whilst “injured”.
You are a good man, I'd have told him that he needed to get a bus to Harrow and Wealdstone, then mainline into Euston then Victoria Line to Victoria, then district line to Ravenscourt Park (or one of the other ones the trains rarely stop at), then a bus from there.
