I don’t understand why this game is on tonight, Ajax aren’t playing this weekend.

 

The Dutch league postponed their match to help with preparation for the cl.

 

When would you like the game to be played?

So why don't you understand why Liverpool are playing tonight?

 

They should be playing tomorrow not tonight in my opinion.

Matt has a point in that I don't really recall other PL teams playing on a Friday to give them extra preparation for a CL game. But it is Liverpool.

 

They wouldn't have even been in the semi final when it was announced.

In fairness, their CL opponent is Barca away.
They will need as much time as possible to prepare if they are to avoid an utter mauling.

 

Monday night, as per usual premier league standards in 'helping' out our CL representatives.

in 12 days this month against the PL #3 side.

I always find it utterly laughable when fans of the big 6, particularly Pool n United, complain about bias.
