Absolutely ridiculous to say that we shouldn't openly want United to take points off City. So no problem to wish Palace or Spurs to do it but the mancs it is dirty. Wtf? We need them to do us a favour sure but primarily they'll be playing for themselves and their self respect. That Everton humiliation may help us if it galvanises the red mancs to raise their game. I note that Sky are showing the 6-2 defeat at Old Trafford so they must think that United have very little chance. I myself cannot see them taking any points from City. They have very little chance of top 4 and they inwardly know it. But like every true Liverpool fan should I'll be praying for a United win or draw. This would guarantee us the title.
remember we placed agent ole in the heart of the evil manc empire as a plant for this moment. hes played his role well in deep cover even in 1999 but nows the time to rip the mask off and run about in his crown paints kit.
Nah i want any of the other three sides left to take points off the mancs, but unfortunately realistically this is our best chance. Its is defo dirty and unnatural but it for the best so gonna hope for the draw
Haha. You are not sitting on the fence mate as a draw is as bad as a defeat for City. You are surely willing like most of us for United to pull off a minor miracle. Why is it dirty and unnatural? The end justifies the means. If United getting a draw means the title is ours, it is silly not to pray for it to the football gods.
Yeah course i am Tbh must be worse for utd fans I know loads and its killing them I have one mate who is trying his best to take the high road but it just isnt happening He is literally talking through gritted teeth, sort of dont want this season to end
I'll watch the Arsenal game. Wolves have a great chance to go 7th and send some Gooners into #meltdown
I think the biggest problem is I don't think Man Utd are capable of doing anything against City. Some of their fans are pretending to support City because its a little less embarrassing than admitting the truth that they are so far behind City that they won't be able to do anything against them.
Kdb is out injured so gives United a bit of a better chance. Only thing going in their favour is the fact they’re at home and being humiliated by city in their own back yard again could really have a detrimental end to their season in getting top 4, especially with Chelsea to play next.
Interestibg stat in the article on sky. United 201 fouls - 64 yellow is a yellow every 3.1 foul. City - 172 fouls - 38 yellow is a yellow every 4.5 fouls. Very linited data but it’s what a lot have said throughout the season that city tend to get away with the fouls not being punished with cards as often
I would be watching and kicking the ball into Manchester city's back of the net from my armchair. It is going to be tight, because United are going to lay down to be slaughtered. My prediction Manchester United 2:1 Manchester city.
It's the type of foul. City players pull and block, they rarely dive in like aguero and b.silva were at v spurs. Pep is the ultimate cynic
