That is embarrassing. Emery must be aware of this, and hopefully he's backed in the summer to bring in some defensive reinforcements.
In hindsight, the damage wasn't too bad this weekend as none of the others won. I think Emery was right to make some changes, in light of the fixture pile-up and the judgement that the Palace home game would be the easier of the three games with the away trips to the midlands coming up. However, it also underlined what we really already knew, that our cover for certain positions is worse than woeful. I won't add to the Musatfi debate, Brunel's video says it all. Now Emery has to replace key positions but, again, we already knew that. Now the dust is settled, we can still see that we are in a decent position. Emery is the future, despite all the numbnuts who are calling for him to go (surely wummers?!) and the board needs to back him.
