I just want to say this.... I just read the sky sport app character assassination piece on mo salah.

I watched the video again of the pen.

That is a free kick anywhere on pitch... anywhere.

It's not once, not twice but three times and frankly it's utterly astounding anyonecan say it's not a pen.

The fact is salah tried twice to get away from a bear hug. He's battled to kedpball and when was in awful position basically made ref make a decision.

If that's "cheating" in the eyes of some I suggest they take a hard look at themselves and then why the ref didn't blow up for both turns salah tried being wrestled back until he'd no option.

Don’t gloat man. You know full well there are six big clubs. We are doing well at the moment. There is no reason to think that in future years this season’s gap will remain indefinitely and that Chelsea Arsenal United and Spurs will stay as they are nor that we will remain top 2. Things change rapidly. Look at the mancs, they were top 2 last season and this they are sixth but still well ahead of seventh.

For me the defender was an idiot . He was taking a huge risk grappling with Salah like this and anyone in Salah’s position would have done exactly the same thing to give the ref a decision to make. Some refs may not have given a pen but it was clearly one of those that get given. I presume we must these days ask: what would have been VAR’s decision? To me the answer would have been a penalty.

Just go back to England v Panama in the WC, Pens for alot less grappling. Its going to be a rude wakeup call for defenders and teams like Cardiff next season when they're facing more Penalties against.

Also David Luiz who is one of the worst offenders of this.

For the next couple of seasons Man Utd are derailed by Solskjaer, Chelsea are derailed by Sarri and a transfer ban, Arsenal are derailed by Kroenke, and Spurs are derailed by their lack of investment.

I know @Tobes joked he though it was a dive but anyone who #legit thinks that is not a foul is just racist/islamophobic at this point. There's just #noexcuse

Only PGMOL and the FA/PL/UEFA turning a blind eye to City's FFP violations will stand in our way

The top 2 is #nailedon but there might be some interesting fights for CL places

It isn't just a fluke of some years being better than others. We have a defence now. Our squad only needs fine tuning. Man Utd, Arsenal, and Chelsea need overhauls (which is impossible in Chelsea's case).

Spurs have a decent squad but will have trouble holding it together let alone improving it. Their best hope is cashing in big on Kane (maybe Man Utd will be desperate enough to offer £100m) then perfectly spending the part of the money Levy let's them use.

They started with a flat back 4 mate, with Lindelof & Dalot as the full backs.
