Musselburgh has some competitive racing for Saturday. I like a dabble in the Sprint and the odds of reward are decent. A Momentofmadness is well tipped up and has a good record fresh. The downsides are that he's on a career high mark and I don't find Charlie Hills to be profitable myself and he's 3/32 the past two weeks. Kevin Ryan hasn't really kicked into form but Brando ran OK the other day and I think Savalas may have some improvement to come. He need's to win from 5 lbs higher than his previous best but there is still time for him. His 5F form is clearly better than that at 6F and he started out last season well and was progressive. I thought 11/1 was a fair enough price in a wide open affair. It has always been an ambition of mine to see Savalas winning on the Telly as well 3.00 Musselburgh Savalas 11/1
Morning Three ITV Bets, all each way 3.00 Musselburgh-Line Of Reason @ 16-1 [Paddy Power] 5 Places 3.15 Haydock-Sunnytahliateigan @ 11-1 [Bet 365] 3.35 Musselburgh-Kelly's Dino @ 11-1 [Paddy Power] 4 Places
Easter racing, don’t you hate it? Went to Newmarket’s 2yo day last October and the most impressive horse of the day was Rainbow Heart. She reappears today at Kempton and is no betting proposition. She could, however, be a serious horse this season. I’ll watch with interest.
Happy Easter here's your present, 3 45 Kempton - Daddy's Daughter 40/1 not even going to say expected to go close because it's expected to win but obviously each-way for cover as it is a big field but Dean really really rates this horse and will be a group horse by the end of the season.
Couple of ew’s for me today. 1.50 Muss Ower Fly 2.05 Hay Bhutan Oh and Chelsea’s cheeky one. Have a good weekend fellas
Of the top 4 in the market only 2 have experience of all weather and those 2 haven't pitched up at Kempton before. So a chance of a shock result but big leap of faith with your pick Chelsea. Good luck with it.
Whilst on the subject of shocks I've had a little ew on Nayati @ 50/1 at Haydock 2.05. I don't generally bet on McCain horses as he doesn't even sleep straight in bed but I can't help thinking this one has scope in his current mark based on his juvenile form. 2 wins, one quite fortunate where the lead pair fell and brought down. In that race Nayati made a race ending mistake of his own 3 out so to come back at least shows kahunas (even if his are long gone). Then first time out this season he got within 3 lengths of the now 150+ Grand Sancy getting 1lb. That was with Alan King since transferred to McCain where first run was surely just a spin round. If this is the day, and that's a big if given it's McCain and he's currently friendless with the bookies, then he would have a chance in this. Good luck everyone.
Looks a tough race that Chelsea. Good luck and cheers for the info! Just looking through the televised races nothing else is jumping out at me so i will have a small each way play on Chelsea's tip. Good luck if any of you are playing today..
Looks like you have talked yourself out of that one Chan! Hoping for a better day after being absolute cack for the past 3 days! I think Chappers has been lurking around the comp league, picking Captain Colby for all the reasons that I had At Haydock I have gone with Casa Tall and at longish odds I think FOB's Diamond Fort has a cracking ew chance. And Chelsea's little teaser has to to be covered - "just in case" (I keep my own little teaser covered at all times)
Almost! Just a little ew poke. More positive vibes: McCain has a good strike rate at Haydock with approaching 1 win in 5 runners. Unfortunately the negative is that he's 0 from 30 here in the last 12 months .
Simon Rowlands at ATR is in fantastic form with all 3 of his obliging on the AW yesterday. He has 4 picks today: Casa Tall and Trixter at Haydock and Reggae Runner and Pipes of Peace at Mussleburgh for anyone interested. Personally I like to pick my own losers.
Anyway what does a few losers matter. It could be worse. You could be Simon Konecki, Adeles' ex. Looks like he'll be the subject of of her next award winning album . Poor bugger. His profession is given as a Charity Entrepreuner. What the fook is that?
charity entrepreneur = that’s a chugger , or more likely a boss of chuggers , horrid nuisances , just been approached in high street this morning by a posh young man “ hi there , have you ten seconds to spare “ , me “ not for you no “ , him” it’s regarding awareness of blind people “ ......... me , there’s a guy with a dog over in boots most days , he collects for the rnib, him “ we’re not competing with them , we are different .......me , you’ve had way more than ten seconds ......
Charity and entrepreneur just don't go together. My problem with that sort of exchange Rudey is that I don't think of the right response quickly enough on most occasions so just resort to rudeness. Not big or clever. I'm up in Anglesey for a few days mate. Beach packed, the unmistakable whiff of suncream in the air and 20 yard queue for the ice cream van. It's fookin April!
way too busy this weekend ! if you want an off beat place to eat bryn celyn farm cafe , city dulas , between moelfre and amlwch , all home reared , home baked etc , they’re open all day till 4pm , otherwise it’s the busiest weekend of the year !,
Cheers rudey. I may give it a go as it happens because we're off over that way this afternoon via some windmill the missus wants to visit.
