    Krul
    Simpson - Saylor - Coloccini - Raylor
    Cabaye - Tiote
    Obertan - Ba - Gutierrez
    Best

How can you say your team is better on paper?!

EDIT: That's only at present, excluding Ben Arfa and Santon!

I think Ba is better than Campbell and Barton and Cabaye are different types of players.
We don't know how Obertan will shape up either.

I don't know anything about Young or Traore so cant judge, you are missing out Santon though.

I'd rather take our 23 year old Holland international over your 33 year old who I've hardly heard of and last played international football in 2006.
I'm not even going to try and explain the laws of Tiote to you.

I've put what I think is the realistic starting XI for tomorrow there. Obertan and Taarabt I've put as equal as both are unproven in the PL. Young is very experienced and similar in ability to Simpson.

Simpson is a good championship player really so I agree there.

Still sticking with Ba over Campbell though due to age and record.

I'd rather take our 33yr old player of the season last year, with bags of experience, over your 23 year old with 2 holland friendly caps-who i've hardly heard of!

It looks like i'm the only ranger in this thread.
Ask some other R's who they'd prefer, Kenny or Krul..

Krul really does have the potential to be international class, I watched his debut against a full strength Brazil team and really it could have been 2 or 3-0 had he not made some great saves.

No disrespect to Kenny, but Krul played the majority of last season as our first keeper and did an excellent job for his first stint in the first team. This season he's come back after 2 Holland caps as an even better keeper who has been more than likely the most in form keeper in the league. At the moment, Krul is the better keeper because of form.

Krul for me, based on his current form and his potential.....but I wouldn't be ashamed to have Kenny infront of our sticks if it ever happened. Both keepers have their pro's/cons and have mistakes in them but more importantly football is a team game, 11 players = defend and attack together.

Genuinely, he couldn't of done a thing about any of them. Our defence has been shocking, we had to play 4cb's V Wigan.
If i'm a WUM for picking one of our best players last season over your keeper, then i guess i'm a WUM !

just cant see qpr beating us they may have bought in quantity but aside from jb they really didnt get any quality signings similar situation to at sunderland looks good but in reality everyone they bought has had a chance in the pl and failed to make an impact...2-0 win for the toon best and obertan

I wouldn't be stupid enough to review QPR on that one Wigan game, but QPR were very poor. I understand that you had a lot of injuries and you've brought a few new players in but i can honestly say the only good uns you've bought since the Wigan game are....well, Barton.

You'll have improved of course, but it'll take time to gel and who knows what will happen with Warnock at the helm.

If you compare our squads we come out on top; you can't argue with that.

Just because he was one of your best players doesn't make him better than ours.

Wait till Monday, you'll see how Krul can keep teams out of the game.

That save against Scunthorpe that he shouldn't have been able to make springs to mind.

QPR could get a nasty surprise with Barton.

He wasn't exactly amazing in our squad recently and only really stood out when we still had Carroll, not saying I wouldn't have him back but I wouldn't put all hopes on Barton if I were a QPR fan, will need time to gel.

True, he hadn't been the same as he was this time last year for example. Still got a very good player on their hands though.

hes a great shot stopper but does it not worry you that his positioning on set peices a bit off chelsea last seson and fuhlam spring to mind although i'de still rate him among the top 5 keepers in the pl atm
