Loads of conspiracy theories going about......with a fair bit of photographic and video evidence of ‘workers’ being in places they shouldn’t of been....adding to that the number of French churches that have been destroyed by fire recently (so has been reported)...makes fascinating reading for people like me
Where’s my tinfoil helmet when I need it :)

The CIA set fire to Notre Dame in an attempt to implicate Tony Fernandes, the Buddhist monks of Shaolin, the ghost of Osama bin Laden, the Illuminati and Hugh Grant in a plot against Christian Civilization.

This map represents the attacks, (burning, desecration etc.) of church buildings in France over last four years. It is possible that fire at Notre Dame is an accident just as reported, but look at it in this context. You decide! #NotreDame #AttacksOnChurches #AttacksOnChristianspic.twitter.com/UbvSGh3rP7

Macron wants to turn it into a multi-faith place of worship, i.e a mosque

That's damning evidence indeed. It was plainly that smiling brown bloke, sponsored by Macron himself.

Official line is 'probably' an electrical short-circuit, a dependable excuse...

Short circuits blow fuses. That's one of the purposes of fuses. I should imagine the condition of the electrical installation in Notre Dame was pretty good, being a tourist hot spot and all that. A loose connection, maybe, but unlikely a short circuit.

I doubt they want to discover it was deliberate. Having worked in Facilities Management in a Local Authority I can recall quite a few fires started accidentally when major works were taking place, most commonly when paint was being stripped. I'd guess the true reason will never be revealed...

....thinking about it, not impossible that a short circuit could cause a fire, I did have a job recently where 2 phases went down, due to insulation damage, one hell of a ferocious bang, smoke and nearly fire, but this was a poor installation that should have been condemned.

Not impossible, but a place like Notre Dame would have its electrics inspected maybe every 3-6 months.

The Glasgow School of Art (RIP) has now burnt down twice during refurb works, and both fires are cited as being a fault with the electrics - I suppose if the fuses/MCBs aren't rated correctly then overheating could occur before the breaker trips, and depending what combustible debris is about this may lead to ignition....?
