Stephen Fry vs Boris the spaffer and the Moggladyte, No contest, to label BJ, JRM and the press as misleading is extremely kind. Total ringpieces.

Dominic Raab would appear to be the perfect replacement for May, based on this. What a piece of ****.

Utterly odious and contemptible. Should suit most Tory voters to a T.

Adding up the crude seats calculation (in a tweet lower down) it shows what I said might happen. While leavers will point to Brexit Party winning, and Brexit + UKIP increasing (from the original 24 UKIP seats won in 2014) the total (alleged) pro Brexit (BrexitParty+UKIP+Con+DUP) count goes down, even if only by 2 in this example (43 last time, 41 this time.)

***the poll ignores NI, so I have taken the result of 2014 where DUP got 1 of the 3 seats.

*****and that makes the assumption that the Tory party is actually a pro-Brexit party.

This graphic is also quite interesting. There are lots of high profile Labour people's vote supporters (Adonis, Campbell etc.) that are saying Labour's failure to state they will offer a 2nd referendum is why they won't finish top........but those votes have to come from somewhere. Where are these extra pro EU votes going to come from? Off the Lib Dems? Off the Greens? Off CHUK? Does it actually make any difference?

This is the alleged change in polls in the last 4-6 days:

The headlines are all talking about the Tory collapse however, notice that UKIP has lost 7%. The Tories have only lost 1%, The Brexit Party has gained 12%!!! That leaves 4% that has come from somewhere!! Labour? (-2%) and SNP? (-2%)

(Should add that due to rounding the 10/11th numbers add up to 99% and the 15/16th add up to 101% so that leaves things a little unclearer.

Stick yer pole up yer hole,
    Stopping brexit is the goal'
Scotch yer graphs up yer arse
    Stopping brexit's here at last.

By the way, believe the poles and brexit wouldn't be on the agenda, Farage and his slime bag chums* would have been campaigning for a 3rd referendum.

    *apologies to slime.

I don't know what you mean be omissions I don't claim the list to be definitive. Protest is happening worldwide Roy, and growing see: https://xrebellion.org/
Map and list of 358 groups here https://www.google.com/maps/d/viewe...Cr3PkBl&ll=3.6926935022922396,152.0719527&z=1

Peaceful rebellion is the stated aim, with arrests anticipated for civil disobedience. Pennies worth of protest damage compared with £££££s caused by climate change so 'kin what?

Yes sure there's violently repressive regimes that brook no dissent and possibly amongst the worst offenders.

What is clear is the notice being taken by media and government UK and internationally, no letting up on the protest: https://www.standard.co.uk/news/lon...don-for-fourth-day-live-updates-a4120926.html

I'm trying to find premises here in The Hague for a pop up bar to resurrect what was a famous watering hole, The Gluepot.

Good luck with your bar,you never know I might shake your hand and buy a pint off you one day,not sure what I'd do if a protest came through and caused all sorts of **** at same time though!<laugh>

We'll see how things progress with the protests and official reaction not just from XR there's also the schools strike and clamour from the scientific community. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/School_strike_for_climate.
See the graffiti as street art, the'll be a Banksy somewhere.
David Attenborough Climate Change - The Facts, BBC 1 9pm tonight, a man who's views must be respected.
I did ask a few posts back if you or Tom had any proposals to accelerate change, if you agree something must be done, urgently, not waiting for a government committee to report?
We'll see about the bar one may popup in London,
I'll probably nip over to join my daughter and partner on the pink boat. Busy pestering the family for match tickets to make it a multi task trip.

Hurrah for Brexit. I got a proper (but still rubbish) job. Start on Monday. Seems they are now desperate for workers for some reason.

Good news for you all. I won't have as much time to loiter on the internet moaning.
