I thought he'd already signed a pre contract deal with Barca but I could be mistaken. Football isn't really my sport, mostly boxing and NFL for me
Come on, how can you be interested in all that Champions League guff when the battle for promotion from League Two is so exciting! No ? Oh well ... Back to the racing. Well, one I liked in the Newmarket opener is drifting, Greek Kodiac, but will retain interest. The market is also sour on Breden, in the 3.35, which I had also liked based on the Lincoln form ( 1ln higher than today ) and The Doyler is on board? Interesting. I'll have to have a go on Forest Ranger in the 4.10. Continuing the Channon connection from yesterday, I'm drawn to Cotubanama in the 2.50 at Ripon. At Cheltenham, one that I thought might be worth a go is Aunty Ann in the 3.50. ( I don't stand a chance in the Newmarket compo really, so just contemplating how to go on that - follow the market across them all? Hmm .... ) Good Luck all and enjoy your Easter weekend
Hello, team. Must say that I’m speechless by the current price of old girl Casablanca Mix (25/1). Not that I’m complaining though. What, what, what, what, what?!? Really think she has solid each-way chances today. Maybe it is the switch back from fences to hurdles that many are seeing as the big negative re this mare. Floressa steady at around the 7/2 mark and must admit that I’m liking this one more and more as the day goes on. Big, big chance in the ‘lucky last’, methinks.
Bit of a move, right now (12's into as low as 7/1), in this heat for Mr Ponsonby's Garrison Commander who makes his handicap debut this afternoon.
She did it nicely for us the last day but am doubtful about her under a penalty. Your one has a nice pedigree as does the Hobbs horse so I wouldnt be putting you off. I had a little ew play earlier on Urban Artist as I suspect there is more to come, was 33's.
hi fellas! another competitive day today, but i ll give it my best shot. cheltenham,2 40: KUPATANA isnt the most sure-footed jumper, but otherwise ticks a lot of boxes here.romped home by 18 lengths last time out,and could still be leniently treated off a 6 lbr higher mark today.also should have the measure of her old rival little miss poet, who beat her a few starts ago,but the nicholls horse has probably the overall stronger form..
Very mediocre offerings at Newmarket today. Just the Earl Of Sefton that interests me and that looks very tricky to call with the best contenders in some respects both being 6YO (Mustashry and Zabeel Prince) Mustashry is very weak in the betting, while they can't seem to give Elarqam away free with two packets of Cornflakes. I saw Vintager come in from 14/1 to 11/1 last evening and he's continued to be very well backed but I feel he's short enough now. Gelded and transferred to Appleby, he was below his best out in Meydan but plenty have flopped there and done better later. He needs a bit more improvement but this is a fairly exposed field. Roger Varian is hitting form and no surprises that Zabeel Prince is popular. He's lightly raced for a horse of his age and should be thereabouts today. Tight enough in the betting though and unlikely to improve much. Elarqam was all the rage for the 2000 Guineas after landing the Tattersalls at 2YO and bullish comments from Mark Johnston. He ran well in the Guineas in 4th but was well off key in the Irish version. The trainer seemed thrown by that performance and uncertain of what trip to try him at afterwards but the horse ran as if it would not have mattered much in two moderate shows. Not sure the colt was ever as good as his Guineas position over the winter suggested he might be and he needs watching, especially with the stable a bit disappointing at the meeting so far. Forest Ranger seems best in the early season but he doesn't win as often as I would like to see from a horse vying for favourite. His run in Meydan was weak although that can be forgiven to some extent. Just felt he was tight enough. I decided to play Mustashry here despite the drift. If you take out his runs on soft ground he is pretty consistent and he holds roughly the same chance as Zabeel Prince on the book. 8/1 looked the bet for a small interest. His form on good-firm is three wins and two seconds from five starts. Stable are 3/10 the past fortnight and he won first time out last year. 4.10 Newmarket Mustashry 8/1
made no mistake today.lovely run from the front.. cheltenham,3 15: some useful mares on show here, but AGUSTA GOLD could represent decent e w value.shes run up to a good level of form so far this season, especially her last run was pretty good.so,with further progress distinctly possible, might be the answer.
few small ew plays at Chelmsford this evening 6.00 Inaam 18/1 7.00 Rogue 66/1 7.30 Michele Strogoff 9/1
I’m drained after last night.two days at Cheltenham not a single winner, plenty of seconds as usual. Luckily I kept playing at Newmarket with a few winners over the last three days. Coys
