Another comfortable win in South Africa. Ospreys record analysed is 1 win and 6 defeats in the ‘international’ windows, but 10-3 out of the window. Sums up what Clarke inherited pretty well. When you’ve got no squad depth, your margins are razor thin. Losing the Dragons match on a series of flukes has made automatic qualification for Europe virtually impossible and even qualifying for the play-off for the final place difficult.....
Greetings from a warm night overlooking Bronte beach, Sydney. please log in to view this image Got photo off google, we're up on the hill. Doing a bit of globe trotting, visiting friends and family dotted about this beautiful planet of ours. Stuffed right now after a wonderful seafood paella, the best Chocolate Moose I've tasted and a bottle of Aus red, so a bit tipsy. My Oldest pointed me to this when we spoke and it made me think of you. Love it, especially the bin at the end Back before Christmas so until then, happy hunting and play safe
Could argue it should be upped to u13s. I see a future where all kids under 14 end up wearing some sort of scrum cap in football too.
I’m told that when the Ospreys were trialling the new Protecht system, the assessors saw large ‘hits’ (head impacts) before the physical impact sessions had started: when the guys were warming up. They were heading a football......
Ospreys beat the Blues. In many respects, justice has been done over the season - we start with a seven game deficit due to the window and we’re 11-3 out of the window.
Ospreys beat the Turks. Ironic that the Region the WRU wanted to get shot of, is Wales’ sole representative in the Champions Cup.
Went down and watched a very disjointed and at times boring affair interspersed with some tidy rugby , I have to question a lot of the refs and non decisions by the linesman a Mr Nigel Owen who seems to want the Turks to win. Justice was done but it took a while to get going with any sort of continuity in play ,it was at times a feisty affair which livened the game up (briefly)
I’ve stopped watching the Ospreys - don’t like what’s been going on there, what with WRU & Project Reset
I can't say I'm a "supporter " of regional rugby because I'm not but the opportunity was there and so I took it , there was a a lot of Swans regulars also in attendance (I surmise that there can't have been much on the TV }
Just watched the game on S4C. That's the first regional game I've watched all season. The standard of rugby was beyond dire. Oh for the days of Lynn Jones. The region has gone backwards at an alarming rate since he left.
I just watched the game recorded from S4C. I actually thought it was quite entertaining and enjoyed it! There was some poor play but also some adventure from the Ospreys - but not enough. My pet peeve is still kicking possession away aimlessly. I also thought there were a few very dodgy decisions against the Ospreys.
I watched the game, thought Ref Whitehouse was woefull, and someone tell me why he puts a funny accent on when he says crouch Bind Set. winds me up to ****. average game which is what I expect from regional rugby now. thought the better side won. how ironic it is that the best region and only true region is the one the WRU wish to get rid of to send a side to North Wales.
The Club needs to rebuild - they will have to virtually start from scratch after the Cuddy and Hawkes eras. Thankfully guys like Mike Price and Dai Shaw are there - Dai a survivor from the golden days. The problem for any side that wants to get promotion is the play-off format that ‘stumped’ Pooler this time around, when the Llanelli team were bolstered with Regional players from the Scarlets. Neath won’t be bolstered by Ospreys squad players - whilst if Swansea or Bridgend were their opponents, both would be ....
