Spoiler: GoT The young boy who was stuck on the wall by the Night King, managed to travel back and forth to Winterfell in no time, and yet I guarantee it will be another three or four episodes before the White Walkers reach Winterfell. The Night King even has a dragon now, so no excuses for being so slow. Danaerys flew beyond the wall from way down south in a matter of hours in the last series.
Spent 40 years worrying about environmental issues. I remember crying watching that big oil spill in the 80's where all the birds were dying on the beach. I dream about fishless oceans sometimes. Then, the other day I heard the term eco-depression, and have since decided to try and stop caring. I'll still recycle, and I enjoy walking were I can, but if leaders like Trump don't care, then what the hell can I do? (super glue myself to a train perhaps?) Hopefully a super volcano presses the reset button before the humans do it. The burden on the natural world will be easier to take that way.
We talked about climate change and the need to protect plant and animal life before...this kind of action doesn't make me think about it more. I just get angry on behalf of people whose lives have been disrupted....by a group where some are honest in their protests and some are anarchists who would join in on any protest. Makes me want to go and throw a plastic bag in the sea (and yes I am joking).
Every one of the people whose lives have been disrupted by this protest will be irreversibly affected by climate change a lot more, and the next generation even more.
12 ****ing hours I was working today thanks to those loonies in London. I was stuck in traffic for at least 3 of those. Where was Boris Johnson's water cannon when you needed it?
