Go Pogba, Sanchez (if anyone will pay him), Matic, Mata (too old now), Smalling, Jones, Rojo, Darmian, Valencia, maybe Lukaku. Definite stay Rashford, Martial, lingard, Lindelof, Dalot, Fred, McTomminay, Herrera (if possible), Shaw, Pereria, Bailly (if he an stay fit). Not arsed de Gea, Young Needed, creative midfielder, two good centre backs, two good/capable full backs.
Objectively speaking I can see Ajax v/s LFC or Barcelona in the final. I can’t see Porto stopping us as we will score at least one which would leave them with a mountain to climb. And I can see us beating Barcelona because their defence is not that top notch and it will struggle to contain MSF. It is really 50/50. Whereas I can easily see Ajax overcoming City over 2 legs. City haven’t got the history of Madrid and Juventus in the CL. I can easily see us winning the CL this year. #nojinx
Funny there are no complaints on VAR today. People just love a good whine. It works when you apply the interpretations refs use. I have to say though Ajax have really impressed me and they have shown there are different ways of building a team at low costs.
So sort of inbetween, i not sure you will be able to get rid of Sanchez easily, may end up on a wage split. Do not understand how it went so bad for him. You could prob get good money for de gea and your back up keeper seems pretty decent so no major rush to get a replacement in. Any thoughts on the plaers to bring in ? Do you not think there could be any hope for smalling if surrounded with better defenders ? I think we need a forward, a mid, and two defenders, but not sure I think we have anyone to sell to get us a wedge Hoping we have some prize money to spend (not confident though lol)
I love football I cant even see us easily getting past Porto lmao ****ting it about tonight. After that I am going to **** myself about the Cardiff game Loving the run in
What exactly are you worried about? Of course we need to treat them with respect - we should do that to all our opponents - but do you think they can beat us by 3 clear goals? As I said a few days ago, the main concern would be a 2-0 win to them and it going to penalties, but I fancy us to able to score if we have to. Really, we are firmly in the driving seat here.
Cause I am an eternal pessimist But I think things like the result last year will spur Porto on They got in 4 times against us last week - I can marega(?) slotting one of those in 2-0 is one of those awkward score lines in Europe We could easily dominate and just have ‘one of those nights’ where we struggle to score and waste many chances Then with 10 to go they get one Suddenly with all the adrenaline and being at home they push on I am not downbeat just not of the opinion this is a foregone conclusion and I agree we are in the driving seat but that scenario you detailed
Yep - totally agree as you speak sense - and logic Buuuuuut it only takes 1 from them also to make this very tricky and my head always goes there first
****ing hell. My youngest daughter is starting a psychotherapy course next month. I'll let you know when she's qualified. You need help
