I think this is the only Stoke game Id pay to see... Two ends of the football spectrum.... I for one would find this game intriguing and would be great too see which method would prevail..

We have one team who is arguably one of if not the greatest technically advanced team in the world and maybe of all time, destroying most teams put in front of them without the ball ever leaving the air (well most of the time), acute passes, one touch play and sharp movement exemplifies Barcelona...

Stoke on the other hand are the complete opposite (anti football if you will), they source out the biggest strongest players they can find get the ball and hit it towards them, hoping to power their way towards the goal.. They even use throw ins to get the ball in the box which are usually just meant to be a method of restarting the football game..

Would fellow members also pay to see this game? Would Barcelona dominate, maybe teams like Man U shouldnt try and play Barcelona at their own game?

Barcelona would still win, they would drag the defenders out of position and outpace them. Remember Barca still have Pique, Busquets and Puyol who are all fairly strong and competent in the air.
    2-0 Barca.

In my humble opinion, of course.

Barca would destroy them. It's not even up for debate. Barca against Mourinho's Inter would be a better match up, or Stoke against West Brom. Teams of similar quality with completely different philosophies.

Im not debating that barcelona would win, I mean Barcelona are touted as the greatest team ever and Stoke are battling fot top 10 in the league for a reason.. It was more a debate on the philosophies, if you had players who played like stoke but played their philosophiy at the same level Barcelona apply their style then who would win..

I feel Stoke are the definition of route one football, where as Inter are more just defensive, they have players like Sneijder who can get the ball down and play...

It also would be interesting to see if Pulis will ever change his style as they become a more established premier league team..

On MOTD last night, Stoke had 24% possession in a home game, and WON.

I feel so conflicted. The way they play is a farce and a joke...but they win...!

The only reason I don't like Stoke is that we can't beat them! I've no qualms with the way the play, and they are often unfairly labelled as 'anti-football' blah blah blah.

Whereas Barca have played 190 games under Guardiola, and had majority possession is every single one.
