Forgot about ronaldo. Never really thought figo was that special. Romario was decent. Never saw laudrup or koeman play but they are big names.

Still though that midfield trio in their prime. Think messi and ronaldinho pick themselves really

Paul Scholes charged with breaching FA betting rules over four-year spell

Paul Scholes has been charged with misconduct by the Football Association after breaking strict betting rules.

Manchester United legend Scholes, 44, has become the latest high profile star to fall foul of FA rules on gambling on football.


Scholes is alleged to have placed 140 bets on football matches over a four-year period, between August 2015 and January 2019, during the time he was a co-owner of Salford City.

The FA has strict rules preventing players, managers, agents and anyone involved in the game on gambling on football.

It is believed that Scholes’ offence is more likely to result in a fine and warning rather than lengthy suspension.

 

I'd only consider swapping Suarez for Eto'o, but Suarez has a few more seasons at Barca in him yet.

That Barca team from 2005 onwards was disgustingly good and the midfield had the best control over a game I've ever seen in a trio (arguably our Masch, Alonso and Gerrard was a match, more physicality but less close technique)
